- Namaste, recently I took a Milage run challange. I rode a Bajaj Platina in and around Delhi visiting my favrioute breakfast options that openes before 8 am. Can you guess how much did Platina do in 1 liter of Fuel?

It's perfect for almost every Indian commuter. Of course it depends on one's priorities and requirements whether one likes it or not. But platina is one supreme bike.
People in rural areas to urban areas to even such areas having high altitudes use this bike and it does it's job so well everywhere! 🙂💪

I have an 18 year old Hero Honda Passion Plus, it happens to be my daily driver for running errands and chores within Kolkata, still provides a great fuel economy of 72+kmpl. Only downside being, it really bogs down when ridden with a pillion.

I am using a platina 100 cc a/w since Jan 11. Recently it has given me 79 kpl. It has covered 71k kms till now.
Still now the original chainset and clutch is there.
Such a great video. I have always loved these kind of bikes because they are actually the most comfortable, even more so than cruisers because cruisers place too much strain on lower back. And of course more comfortable than sport bikes because they have bad seating position and hard seats (though that can be fixed of course).

My Bajay CT100 used to give me 100+ kmpl back in the day. Now I don't think it will be able to do so.
My first bike Platina 2008 model. I had once got 110kmpl mileage on highway with 40kmph continuous speed. In city i used to get around 75-80 on a regular basis.

80 ➕ mileage is commendable in city... Bajaj has tuned this bike perfectly.. We have travelled a lot in rural and urban areas on platina Es 100..its has best and comfortable suspension in its class.. Need such mileage on splendor and HF Delux as they are highest selling bikes in Indian market.. But keep a spare 1 litre petrol in bottle to avoid any inconvenience of pushing the bike in case of exhausted fuel...

My friend and I went 120km on 100rs petrol. At that time petrol was 90-91 Rs/L in my state. We were shocked and amazed. We were expecting 75-80 km/L
Hi Gagan i used to ride this bike just after completing college that time it used to come as CT100 during that period i used to get around 85 milage on this bike no dint it's ultimate though from fifteen years i am using royal Enfield but still i am afan if this bike
My father had the 2009 platina. On that model he claimed 90+ mileage.
Bike left side mai tilt karo aur chali jayegi 3-4 km. I have a 2018 100CC model giving me 68-70 km/litre while continuing cruising on 65 + km/hr speed.

Mere paas platina 100 2023 january Registered. Mene maximum 114 kmpl ka average nikala hai From Mumbra to Lonavala to Mumbra. Total 228 kms in 2 litres of petrol. ❤❤❤

I was in college when I took my friend's platina and drove with ENGINE OFF in slope areas and engine on for reaching 40KMPH 😂 AUTO ON OFF mode 😄This bike I remember ran more than 50 KM in 50 Rupees back then so I guess with on off mode it covers 100 KMPL 🤣

We get 90 kmpl 1st gen platina and I am owan last version discover which is now giving 70 to 75 kmpl milage ... My daily usage and its my 3rd discover 1st gen awesome and rugged and this last one is awesome and it has super torque and can drive 20kmph with 2 seater in traffic with top gear and guess no knocking in the engine like .. #Gagan @Gagan #bajaj is best for indian roads..

I have platina es 100 comfortec 2016 model. I have ride it for 60000 km. When bike was new I got *80-90* average, after 6 years recently I was getting 70- 75 kmpl. But from some time I am using my bike in city traffic, I am hardly getting 60 kmpl average.

We have Bajaj City 100 (2004 Model) and it gives mileage of 85+. We run it 5 -10 kms by choke system many time in emergency.

My 22 years old Hero Honda Splendor gave me 72 kmpl in just 290 rupees of petrol and I drove it about 142 KM straight bit of a traffic. I was moving back home from another district and didn't have any options so my only thing helped me was my bike.

I have a discover 110 2018 model and he would get 75+ milenge ♥️
Earlier my platina 110 gave 50 kmpl in running in period and after 12000 km, mileage started increasing and increased upto 80 kmpl (I felt that showroom guy gave me test riden bike).
But due to some oil consumption issue, engine rebuild was done under warranty (38000+ km odo).
After engine rebuild, this time I took extra care of each and every part of the engine:
1. Maintained Ignition (Clean spark plug) after every 400~500 kms.
2. Maintained Air Intake (Clean Air Filter) after every 300 kms.
3. Maintained Cooling System (Clean Engine Fins and Oil sump bottom) every morning before starting ride.
4. Extra oil cooling (installed aluminium heat sink) to avoid any oil over heating to get maximum oil pressure all the time. (Extra oil pressure has many benifits)
5. Always ridden below the speed limit of each gear as per owner manual (I ridden it below 90% of that speed).
6. Ridden in variable speed ranges (2 min in 38~42 kmph range then next 5 min 15-20 kmph range)
7. Always ridden in plane roads (slight incline also ok). Almost no stress for engine.
As this time, the bike wasn't ridden by the showroom "Idiots" (only engine was started by the mechanic to check engine sound after rebuild), I was the one who performed first ride for the engine.
Engine sound was like 2 different engines are running at same time.
I got 90+ kmpl in first 400 kms (300 km in 3.25L) and after that for next 250 kms, I got around 120 kmpl (233 km in 1.95L).
Most of the people think that after first service, mileage increases.
Yes, most of the time it increases.
But in actual, the engine regains its dropped mileage after the service.
But if all those points (except extra oil cooling, as it is highly experimental and may damage the engine if not used carefully) are followed, then there will be almost no difference in mileage before and after first service.
Can you pls explain in Hindi or shorter! Because I wanted to buy a mileage bike for my Rapido work any I'm confused for which bike I choose because everyone has a different opinion but or not some says 50kmpl some says 60kmpl .. some says sp125 is best almost every one is confusing me and I am still waiting for food mileage bike because when I buy a bike I'm not able to change my bike for sure if I buy a wrong one my 3 year waste .. I'm a student so I support my family to rapido because it's a very time saving job ...so pls help me ....😅for buying a milega bike 😅 Thanks you ❤

If you want to ride with pillon, then go for SP125. Because during rapido rides, you won't be riding very slow and take significant pickup and also, you will be riding via stop and go traffic.
If it is so, then Platina is not good (but not worst). You will require more power and cooler engine.
In this case, Honda / Yamaha / Suzuki will be good due to their offset cylinder configuration.
Honda CD110 or SP125 are good. But I will recommend SP125 as it has more power.
@@zafarsview7118 Agar rapido me use karna hai toh Honda / Yamaha / Suzuki ki koi bike lena, inme offset cylinder use hota hai, jisse zyada heat aur power loss nahi hota. Yeh instant pickup, pillion riding aur stop & go traffic me kaafi helpful hai.
Lekin Platina/CT mat lena, kyuki maine jis conditions par chalaya tha woh rapido me applicable nahi hai.
Platina/CT starting me overheat zyada hote hai aur agar piche baithaya, toh haalat aur bhi kharab hoti hai.
Best hai ki Honda CD110 ya SP125 le lo. Mai SP125 recommend karunga kyuki usme zyada power hai.

I ride solo from chandigarh to amritsar, speed 45-50,260 km approx, I got 103 with my platina 100cc bs4 2017 model , fuel cost rs 265 @105/ltrs for xp95
