I've read the first 4 Ender books, Enders Game, Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide and Children of the Mind. My least favourite is Enders Game, my favourite Speaker for the Dead, followed by Xenocide and Children of the Mind. I really like Cards writing and will be reading more next year.
@@thesci-fished I haven’t read Hyperion or Gateway so can’t comment on those. I need to reread Dune cos I’ve only read it once when I was 15. Canticle was fantastic but I think I’d put Ender’s Game above it. Hard choice!
Ender’s Game was ok, but I was always confused about why they practiced fighting outside of ships but the final battle was fought using ships. At least, that’s what I vaguely remember from reading it about ten years ago.

@richardbrown8966 that's pretty much the way i would rank them too... maybe a spoiler when we go to rank Speaker on the shed ladder
Great analysis. I was so interested to see where you going to rank it!
I hope you didn't disagree too much 😀

@CptSamelsSigils There is a little spoiler to the answer for that one. Stop reading to avoid spoliers * the simulations are not what we think**
Yeah, I don't think he understood the ending of the book. Because that's not exactly what happened. 😂
@@AllisonRoadWest I might not have, I read it a long, long time ago so my memory of it is kinda fuzzy
