If you hear this message, share it with your children. Help them prepare ahead of time so that they can meet adversity with determination. As a resident, I watched 70 % of the children with cancer for whom we cared die. One child sailed through chemo and was never admitted for complications of infection, anemia, or bleeding. What did he have that the others did not? A family that met the challenge with DETERMINATION. When that boy came in for chemo, they prayed for the child with quiet determination. They did not make a spectacle with hallelujahs and amens; rather, they entered the hospital with the seriousness of a wrestler meeting an opponent. Does that mean God did not love or save the other children because they didn't have enough faith? No, but they were not prepared and reacted with fear and anxiety. I was diagnosed with a hereditary genetic disease 18 years ago and I forgot this very lesson until I was reminded of it a few years ago. A report from the doctor is enough to set folk back to expect death and not life. Pv 18:21 is in operation here. In my training as a hypnotist, I can understand the power of words on the mind...in fact we often call this phenomena as white coat hypnosis. Note: coma patients often deteriorate when they hear words of negative impact ...may be one can do some research on that. Placebos do not always have to come in pill form.

Jesus healed all manner of diseases and sickness. The bible says all that he did could not be contained in one book. Jesus told us heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead in his name. He said he had the authority and he gives it to us. We are to preach the gospel to all the world Signs and wonders are to follow the preaching of the gospel, always. Today many have strayed from this commission. Regardless of this fact, the truth is we have the authority , we need to know it to do it.

My strong faith in the healing power of Jesus drains down when i see people with congenital defects, genetic problems, dwarfs, mentally subnormal people etc. Can these people too get total healing?
Yes they can, I have heard many testimonies of the most impossible looking conditions being totally healed. Nothing is impossible to God who made the whole Universe. It is us that keep him limited and in a box. Our faith and knowledge in this area will grow as we study these truths and see miracles happen. Our faith must be stronger than our doubt. Barry has such Wisdom and an amazing teacher. Just today I was really questioning why the healing evangilists Charles and Frances hunter died of ill-health. I'm only going by the news. Frances Hunter--kidney failure and Charles only said had failing health and heart condition. the both died in their 90s or late 80s I believe but shouldn't it have been in good health?

I believe that many of the Healing ministries of the past operated by God's grace of Supernatural intervention. I was a kid when many of them were active and know that they didn't fully understand how or why. I remember Katherine Kulman say that the 1st. question she was going to ask Jesus when she got to Heaven was why some were healed and others not. She died of illness herself. In college I studied as an elective Church History were I saw that all of the knowledge that the first 3 centuries of Believers had disappeared after the Muslim invasion of much of the Roman Empire. They killed all who were educated and burned all written material to stomp out the Light of the World. The knowledge that was lost has taken centuries to restore to the Church. As you follow the revealing of lost truths which occurred in small portions at a time, you see the different denominations cropping up. As a new truth was reintroduced the OLD group couldn't receive it.. New wine into old wineskins.... The understanding we have today, what Barry is teaching was not known to them. And yes I'm sure there could be some that play tricks, but most just don't know.
I have not studied church history but thank you for this information. I do know that Satan has stolen this knowledge and understanding that is clearly in the bible for those willing to study and be taught the truth. I just checked, Frances died at age 93 in 2010 and Charles is still alive at 100
But I am saved by Blood of Jesus now..
