Hey! I added a piece of the plastic which I cut out of a plastic bottle inside of the plastic ring and that stabilized the wobble. Some grease is requieres though in order to keep the axle spinning. Thanks for the video!!
Great video! That part really shouldn't be plastic. Id also suggest informing your viewers that they can avoid this issue by locking their front wheel before running - not as easy to maneuver thought!
Hi. I have Urban Glide 2 and started using it last week. Out if the box stroller is pulling to the left (front wheel unlocked, not in running mode). I have checked tyre pressure and break tension. Also i have lossen break lines all the way, to be 100% that breaks are not the problem. Stroller is still pulling to the left when you let go of it on flat ground. Do you have any experiance whit this kind of problems? At the shop they will need to take the stroller in to go over warranty, but I need stroller every day and not be week or two without. Thank you for your help. Kind regards
Hi, I have an opposite problem. The front wheel does not swivel freely in unlocked position. It takes considerable energy to turn the stroller. Actually, when stroller is empty, the front wheel would almost not turn at all. I'm wondering if the ring would loosen in the course of time and the front wheel will actually become more "turnable", or if any action should be taken to fix this. Is this caused by the plastic ring that you mention in 4th miniute? What is your opinion?
@@graeme-e9 It took few kilometers of walks to make the wheel more "turnable". So no specific fix. But your issue seems to be different, as I was describing a new stroller.
Nice video, except you didn’t fix the loose piece of plastic. Is that because Thule’s website doesn’t list this part? I couldn’t find it there - does anyone know where to find it? My understanding is that 3D printing it would require a data file.

Hola. Podrías enviar una foto de como lo hiciste?
Any idea what the plastic part on the bottom is called/listed as?
Great video! We have the Urban Glide 2 which has the same problem with the plastic part. Finally a good reason to pick up 3D printing :D
Do you make them? I’ll buy the part 💵
I want to buy one please
I haven't gotten around to making them. If I ever do, I will let you know

Hey there, do you happen to have a part number for that front ring?? Great video!! and thanks!
I called Thule and they said they couldn’t offer it.

Did you find a fix for this in the end? Ours has started doing the same.

Hii I have Urban Glide 2 and the rear wheels started wobbling when I ran. Do you know how to fix it? Thanks
Most likely damaged ball bearings, bent axle, or worn down shaft in the rear wheel housing :)
Mine does the same, I've only used it three times
What is th size of the bearing???
Thule Urban Glide 3 has a different mechanism. Can you please provide instructions on how to fix that?

At the end I fixed mine with a shim I made from an aluminium can. So far so good!
@@bobbiago clever! I was trying to decide what to use as a shim and was coming up blank. Good idea!
@@bobbiagohello please you can explain how you fix? Thank
Any idea what size the front bearings are?
I dont have a Thule in right now, but this video will help you figure it out :) th-cam.com/video/SqKJgGi5Lmo/w-d-xo.html
The bearings (at least on mine) are size: 6000-2rs
@@RyanMGranger What model do you have?
Part number or size on the replacement bearing? Thule wants me to buy the whole wheel unit.
I just disassembled mine - The bearing is a 6000-2RS. It needs 2 of them.
@@mikevanne5833 Thanks Mike
@@mikevanne5833 confirmed. same on mine.
@@mikevanne5833 and it fits over the fork without modification? When googling the hole on the bearing looks to small.
@@SkiLife44 I've used a bunch of them. It fits.
My front wheel assembly falls off when I raise the front wheel off the ground in the unlocked position. Anyone else have this issue?
this happens to mine too. did you figure it out?
У меня та же проблема.Вы нашли решение?
Same here! Any solution?
Thule seem to have a lifetime warranty so will replace the part if it is worn it seems

It's pronounced too-lee
Actually not :-) As a Swedish company we pronounce the "U" as a ... well... "U" :-)
Too-La-La sounds more satisfying lol
