- Went looking for heli crashes and stashes on the far west side of the map, as i was walking past this pond i noticed a huge lag spike so I knew there was a big stash nearby. Enjoy.
Someone finally found my stash on 0852. That's just my back up stuff. Nothing duped, all looted from the gas. Congrats! Enjoy it until the server wipe

The only pro of being old gen is if im in the middle of no where are my frames start gettinf choppy i know theres a stash near by

I had a stash in plain sight: 14 barrels, 4 sea chest and 120 crates never got found

Played this game two ways I've played having gear fear running and hiding because I didn't want to lose my gear or a stash goblin were I have stashes as big as this one those are not fun ways to play from now on every time I play I will start as a freshie and see how it goes

I went back a week later to grab the akm and putty and the whole stash was gone. I found out a group of dupers raided it after me and took everything lol

I guess Noone reads descriptions anymore. On console when you lag and have a frame drop it means the game is loading in something, I was in the middle of the woods so I knew it was either a stash or another player and I was next to a pond which is a common stash spot people use so I circled around the whole thing. I'm using a pond right now as a stash and I get a huge lag spike everytime I approach it. Lots of experienced players use the lag to their advantage if you lag while already in a town it means someone entered or logged into the town and they will do what called xray glitch where you close the game and relog and you can see through all buildings because they take a few seconds to load in and all u can see are players zombies bases and stashes through walls and buildings. And idk how all that loot would not be worth getting soaked you can just dry out I was wearing best insulation so I don't get very cold once out of the water.
Sorry I missed the description. That's great info, been playing solo for years and still learn new things. I wonder if your connection dictates that lag. And I meant I wouldn't have blindly got soaked without knowing something was there like you did.@@ashenskywalker5537

When I lagged going over the bridge I knew there was a stash in the pond because it's a common place for people to put crates so I was walking around the pond with my inventory open looking for them but they happened to be right where I started and I didn't notice till I checked the whole pond

I am sure there are dead bodys in the water dying by looting in cold water😂
As long as you're wearing best insulation clothes you should be fine and keep your food and water full for highest immunity, i ran around in the rain for 3 hours the other day and never got sick

The hiding spot is good, but the loot is dogshit, one good rifle, one plate, few nvgs and little ammo, and you wake me up 8pm from my drunk nap to show me mid stash.
Hahaha u mad, akm vsd lar and m4 are not mid, no matter how bad you hate the m4 doesn't change the fact it's still the best gun in the game you're personal opinion doesn't change that, and the akm and m4 and suppressors, only one spawn max per server..... mid loot my ass

I went back after I died and it's all gone 😢 someone either moved it or popcorned it all. Oh well no loss to me I didn't put in the work for it lol, I still have a small stash of my own I did make tho. I enjoy being less geared more tbh.

On other servers standing so long in the open you get one shot and instant dead in the water... Must be a low rated server or a friendly one😁🤷♂️
I'm on the edge of the map dude Noone would have been there I have 1500 hours in the game I know what I'm doing, I don't stand in the open in high traffic areas. Yea it was low or medium pop but again the edge of the map. i have never been killed standing still or in the open.
I know this location... Its often used 4 stashes like the cave. I've not so many hours but shot on such locations without being noisy... But I've it works it works...😁
@benbensen5882 I went to it probably 5 times and took stuff I never saw anyone. It's always possible to get shot anywhere but no other way to take the stuff but stand there lol

@@KRAKEN91O yea Everytime I walk by one I check the edges for a stash, my friends like to use pond stashes but I think they're too easy to find I prefer hiding crates in big trees.

Well I originally posted it to a subreddit and Facebook page and it got a few thousand views so that might have boosted it enough for it to go on a dayz algorithm or something idk.

You do find shit like that, everyone on console stashes their shit in trees and ponds because it's not safe to put stuff in bases with dupers duping explosives. If you're on console server hop and look at the pond by pavlovo, eventually you will find one someone's using as a stash it's very common.

@@R3DOPS_96 here's a tip, find a big fat tree that's in a safe place to sit next to and grab loot out of that you can remember where it is. Take 4 items doesn't matter what and mark around the base of the tree so you know where it is, wait till a server restart is about to happen and make a ton of crates cut down the tree place them in the middle of your markers all on top of each other and when the server resets the tree will grow back and hopefully your crates are hidden and you can go up to it and take loot and and put loot in. Make sure it's somewhere away from heavy traffic and where you can find it again.
