Answering to a questions in a different way is a great skill and it really add a different flavour to ur conversation.About 6 years back I met a girl while attending a competition, she introduced herself quiet differently by connecting her name to a movie, that was so cute and still I remember her name even though I forget the names of almost all the others I met🤩.

It may not be about only English here but I'm just overall shy ... however what has helped me a little bit with speaking confidence was begining of creating and uploading videos (mainly gaming) to youtube ... and it actually did help wiith my general speaking confidence ... even though i speak on ma channel in polish it even helped me with my english and norwegian confidence (yes i'm learning norwegian as well) ... So well there are many ways of fighting with shyness .... but honestly I'd like not to have to fight with that but just be a person that is not shy ...

I had the experience of communicating with a native speaker in, so to speak, neutral territory. We were both guests in a country where no English is spoken, and I assure you we understood each other without any hesitation or embarrassment. It was a long conversation, to be honest, not without the help of a google translator, but we understood each other, and this is the main thing.)))
