I have a big collection of vintage tommy hilfiger, I grew up in the 90s. I will always love to wear vintage tommy hilfiger, and I just brought a vintage tommy hilfiger jeans denim button down, add to my collection.
I was going through a box of old clothes that were in my attic and I found a vintage Tommy Flag T-shirt, made in the USA, and signed by him. I got it at a store opening where he was meeting people and signing t-shirts. It’s in very good condition.. barely worn. I am wondering what it is worth.

I have to rely on experience, research, and personal contacts to get solid info. I am working on a website that will document this stuff in a more ordered fashion. So be on the look out for that!

It's totally cryptic as it's marked as sz L, buttons on the right as if it's a mens, but too small for men and too large for boys. Do you think this could this be a ladies sz L and the shirts in this line are designed with buttons on the right (as an either-gender line like CK One)?

Hello. I found some tommy shirt amd they got the lion crescent on them but i cant figure out when they were using those on them but it has the full tommy tag and flag. Also it has what it looks like is the heavy and old stitch. So it all leans to it being vintage but the crescent on the front left side of shirt throws me off on the authenticy

I found a pretty cool Tommy jacket today that has a phone holder inside? Looks like a small cellphone holder? Do you have any idea when this could be from? I feel like it's pretty old because 1. It's a phone holder and I don't think any brand would include this these days in their clothing and 2. It's for a small looking phone! Phones the last 10+ years would be alot bigger than what this could fit lol
Sweet! Yeah, lots of Tommy gear had cell phone pockets in the late 90s and early 2000s and they were certainly too smaller for modern phones haha. Dope!

I used to have three sets when I did eBay sales and someone wanted to buy just the quilt to the other dust ruffle and I used to take the tiny Tommy stuffed bears and make mobile to go with them. I have about 2/3 bears still too. They’re about 3 inches tall and plaid.

The vintage Tommy stuff I find either has a date code (which usually makes it barely vintage) or was made in Hong Kong. I have yet to find any made in USA Tommy but I do stumble upon the made in Hong Kong stuff every now and then. Alot of people only look for made in USA when looking for vintage stuff but often times items made in Hong Kong or Korea are from the 90's and still technically vintage. Unfortunately though as someone else mentioned the sell through on Tommy stuff isn't great at the moment.
to help you a little bit, it’s a vibrant dark green (now faded) with a tommy white and red block tag, but through the block it actually has a silver ‘tommy’ as well. on the bottom of the sweater it has an original athletic tag stitched to the front. thanks!

It’s not you. Vintage Tommy sort of peaked out a couple years ago. Then they started making so much throwback repros and retro pieces that flooded the market.

At that point maybe. They started adding dates in The early 2000s.

Very true. Hong kong and Korea were very common textile producers in the 80s and early 90s. NAFTA kind of changed that, but def true.
