Steve you have been to Louisiana and I'm sure you've heard of the Neville Brothers. The accordion is big in zydeco and creole music. So black folks do play it. But like you said, you've never seen it. Lol My grandma used to watch the Laurence Welk show which was nonstop polka music and that was basically all accordions so if you ever watched that you would think only white people played it lol
