    You are becoming more than travel bloggers. You incorporate history with real stories, while experiencing food and culture through local experiences and people. It makes you unique travelers and makes you stand out among the rest of the vlogs out there. Amazing to see your almost 4 years of traveling and how much you have achieved, experienced and traveled and improve in all areas of your vlogs. ❤️

The one that is light and travels far is gamma. Still can cause canver. Plus I would nnot drink or eat in that area. It is enough to have one nucleotide launch in one of the organs in the human body for cancer to be guarnateed.

      @narminghalichi4572 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@odderlendsolvang3790 Half life means the amount of time (no matter what amount) it takes to deplete the radioactive material by half. Uranium ( do not quote me I looked uranium up long time ago) is in thousands. Yes less radioactive. But how much less? I would not want to be near it even if it is much less radioactive. Problem is it is emitting cesium and strontium besides just alpha beta and gamma radiation. I think cesium half life is 30+ years, never looked up strontium. What I was trying to say in my post is that : visiting this kind of place has two wrongs about it. First of all, it is dangerous. Second, it sends message around that radiation is not as scary as they paint it, which is fundamentally wrong. All this radioactive material has been included into the food chain and now cycles around until people who bear the outmost cost die. I have friends from Ukraine. There are villages there where high percentage of kids are born with leukemia or develop it over life time.

    I remember this catasthrophy from the perspective of my childhood in Poland. My parents told me that children were given to drink iodine. Anyway it was already too late because Soviet Union was hiding the information about it for some time. This ghost town is loooking sad, depressing and really like frozen in time. Also, I really like how you both are open to common people in your vlogs. This is precious. For me this place is too sad to watch on my own eyes , the same as Oswiecim in my country, I have never been there and do not plan to visit these places. Small thing: when using an interpreter or translator, the etiquette is to pretend they don’t exist and speak directly to the other person. This was obviously super informal translation, but it’s a good rule of thumb if you ever come across the situation.

      @@nevlieslu2155 let's say for example that you are having a conversation with an individual named George. You two have a language barrier and have decided to use a translator. People's first instinct is to turn to the translator and say, "tell George I said hi." This is understandable, but can be rude to george as you are supposed to be talking to them and not the translator. Thus, pretend like a translator is an old phone line. Make eye contact with george and say whatever you would like to say as if there was no language barrier and then wait for the translator to catch up. Hopefully george will pay you the same respects.

I work with a young adult who uses a communication devices and people are always asking me “does he want / does he like / does he need…” it is really annoying, I wish they would just speak to him even if I am the one “translating” (reading what he is spelling on his spelling board)
