Lot of mods done . Nice job. I have the 78 GS750 .In the process of changing the rectifier now , need to clean up my wiring and use a 4 pin connector like the one you show . P.S. I think the clothes are dry .

Hey, great looking GS550! I just bought a 1978 GS550e a few days ago as a project bike. I was wondering what book you're using for the wiring, as I know I'll have to do some electrical work myself.
I have the same model & year Suzuki. How difficult was the ignition install? I've seen videos but the timing set up after, is what concerns me. I have an "old school" timing light. What's involved ? -Thanks

Using the manual for the wiring but it's not easy. And yes the clothes dried. Lol.
