If you’re wondering HOW I priced the hotels, I used google maps, entered the set of dates (I thought would be most helpful for you, a weekend in peak) and then typed in each hotel name and grabbed the price it gave out for the Hotel’s website with tax and fees)
Side note: this is one of my fave ways to quickly price out hotels in an area.

Nicely done video. As Sarasota residents, sometimes we're not aware of the many nice hotels. By the way, while it' a different price point, you should check out the Ritz at downtown Sarasota. Nicer than many other Ritz hotels in our opinion. It's on the bay and they also own a beach club on the Gulf; hotel guests can use and have access via their shuttle bus.

Stayed at a nice BeachWalker villa just a little south of Jacksonville that overlooked the water & had beach & a beautiful pool access. Just didn’t get to enjoy much of it due to the weather being stormy the whole time.

Wow, this is a great area in Sarasota Florida. Great scenic views and very plush! I would think you could get a deal, but even the deals seem high priced!
Ooooh the hotels out here ARE higher priced than other places in Florida. I will admit that!
