Best part of this game is that if you want to progress you WILL learn the mechanics even if the game must beat you with them repeatedly.
Yeah you have to respect the Enemys turn even tho you can sneak in some attacks here and then
I did beat the whole game without charging shots.
@@weed75black35 Even the final boss? Did the same, had beaten every boss 1st try without using charged shots (maybe even charged attacks as well?) To that point of the game, but then got stuck on the last boss and got killed by it like 10 (potentially more) times. Using the charged shot was necessary for me during that fight.
@@piotrpaczkowski6027 I don't consider that a charged attack since it's a whole new type of attack altogether

Its interesting to see how he struggles against second boss more than i did despite him having higher score on reaction speed tests
This game isn't all about reaction times...It also about realizing the pattern of attacks the enemy does in each phase and adapting.

If he just used a controller, he definitely would've been having enough fun to finish the game. It's not too long for him. Only like 4-8 hours for an average player to 100% it. I'd really like to see him revisit this game, it so good for stream.

None of the bosses are easy. Even the first one (chain I think he’s called) requires some skill.

I died on the first boss just like you but I BREEEZED through the second boss, and dies twice on the third boss, came here to watch someone else’s experience, didn’t disappoint

The Chain is definitely supposed to be easy in Furi mode... as long as you listen to the tut, which everyone I've watched play it seems to struggle with haha
Having come in from bullet hell shooters, what was probably supposed to be the bulk of the difficulty can be easy for people familiar with the genre, though the genre IS pretty niche. I imagine people who play Souls-like games doing proper dodge rolls & parries (rather than panic-spamming rolls) have a particularly easy time with the dodge-button & parrying, too, especially once you figure out that you can parry back the enemy bullets in Furi. Again, it's a niche play style to come in with, but it's out there.
It's still a fun game on either difficulty, and Bernard was very cool until those final phases where he suddenly got a lot easier for any bullet-hell players.
The game is kind of easy though.

the first boss is easy but the second is by far the hardest in the game
@@gabrielcosta1434 Not really. When you come back after having already beat the game, it's actually pretty easy. At some point you just become good enough that the entirety of the game is easy on Furi. That's where Furier comes into play.

It's much harder to play with mouse and keyboard. I'm surprised he did as well as he did. Thought he'd give up way sooner. I'd love to see him come back to this with a controller.

How the fk are people saying that this game is any good ? The minimalist approach does not cooperate with the long walking periods, cheap movement and absolute garbage narrator. it´s just another bullet-hell with no backstory and an overall "meh" design.

Coming from someone that played this game I would definitely say the same if I didn’t play the game. It became one of my favorite games ever especially the hardest mode lol it’s actually fun and challenging if you’re going for no damage taken :’ ) soundtrack is amazing and battles are epic I disliked the walking part too but it gives you time to think about the story there’s no much obviously but still interesting haha you should definitely try it but with a controller.
Think I beat this game on furier at least 50 times and I’m about to do it again lol
