You know, I use those practices all the time and I have just assumed it made sense to everyone but when I was doing the live videos so many people would tell me they had never thought of that so I have decided to start saying the tips, even if I think everyone already knows it. Very cool and easy! I love the gift box idea. The small square cards are perfect for gift bags - no mailing hassle. Save the tags for the boxes! Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!
when I did a christmas album i use a dark blue it really came out really nice. I was with a group of women and they had use black for there album. They all like the idea using the dark blue. I just me i do not like to use black for christmas. I am going to be making the stationary. I may have sent you another comment about your instruction on the project. Your the best to show us how to make the project. Thank you for doing a great job.

I adore these mass production card videos! I have been making cards for years so I would not call myself a beginner at all. I love doing fussy and detailed cards for the ones I love, but sometimes you just need a bulk set of cards. There are lots of inspiration for those fussy time of cards, but I find these types of videos rare to find. Thank you for making card making seem do-able for those getting started!
I watched the videos for the box and the cards and made them last night. It was soooo much fun. Your explanations were clear and concise. You're a good instructor; I should know because I train for a living. :) If that wasn't enough, I started watching Vinnie's Vittles. You two are great. In the little pocket you could put a coupon for a "refill" and the person that gets it can turn it in for another set of cards, gift cards and tags! You could specify that the refill would be their birthday gift or just an any time gift.

What a fantastic project!! My mother-in-law is celebrating her 88th birthday, she is somewhat a minimalist which makes her hard to buy for. I was actually thinking of altering a cigar box and filling it with all occasion cards, but this project is soooo much better, she loves sending notes and cards to friends and family so this is PERFECT!!! So I'm off to watch the video on how to make the box and then I'm going to make some cards. I even went to the post office and bought stamps for the cards I planned on making. Not to write a short story here, but.... I'm fairly new to card making, so when I decided on this idea you were the first person I thought of for help and inspiration for this project!! So thank you Ms. MayMay. I also had to tell you a bit of a funny story, today I was at Tuesday Morning looking for some stuff I could possibly use in my project and there was a women also shopping the craft isle and we got to chatting how our local Tuesday Morning doesn't seem to ever get new crafting merchandise, she had commented that all these hauls she sees on TH-cam where folks are getting all these amazing craft items but they're never at our TM. Then we got to chatting about what kind of crafting we liked, and who some of our favorite TH-camr's were and who we followed, and as it turns out we both follow you and then got to chatting about how much fun we think you are to watch and how incredibly funny and talented you are. We are going to get together and do some card making and scrapbooking, we are even going to try to start local crafting group. But I digress..... As a new crafter, for me the thing that stood out the most in the video was about cutting sticky adhesives and how to clean them as well as the suggestion for the best type of scissors to use when cutting!!!! love the box and cards!! A little tip, if you have a problem with ribbons or twine going thru the holes, use a dental floss needle, cheap and they last forever!
I use them all the time, I even made my own the other day cause I had lost all my others! lol . I did that in a video but I forget which one it was....hmmm.
You make it seem so easy. I wish I had your skills.
I love these stationary boxes. I created a cut file for them but I still need to create my cards and tags.

I love this idea; especially the flexibility of use for the gift box. I would use the box for a small stationery gift (a pad of note paper with envelopes, a small sticky note pad and small sheets of stickers suitable for envelope seals. Stamps in the stamp pocket, of course.
