How to enter service mode in Ford 6000 CD radio unit (C-Max Focus Fiesta Mondeo Transit)

Thanks to hidden service mode in Ford 6000 CD radio unit, you can access information like software version and in some units also serial number needed for lock code generators.
Turn on the radio and press and hold buttons 6 & 1.

That sounds like a damaged circuit or one of other buttons is stuck pressed causing other in the same circuit to be blocked.

Bluetooth is an optional equipment. You can add it but I'm not sure what you need to buy and/or replace in your car in order to make it work.

You're supposed to do it before you pull the power/radio.
Otherwise the code is underneath the ash-tray. Just pull it up (little box that doesn't seem like it goes up)
