Because, unlike other streamers, you are explaining your play, where to go, what to do, good and bad side of tanks, making jokes, and playing a current game not commenting a replay where you owned a game. Since my fiance is playing WoT too, i showed her few of your videos. i remember when the obj 430 II was a really good brawler with a simply amazing turret and the autoricochet upper hull and the low profile with the T-54 gun back in the day you couldn't turn the turret all around aswell but it were never a problem WG really have nerfed the shit out of this tank
I loved the old 430 II and I wouldn't have even minded if they wanted to change it to be more like the K-91 and 416 but I think they just didn't go far enough with it. If it had AMX 30 DPM, decent gun depression over the sides and tier 10 silver APCR for example it would have something worth while in exchange for being an awkward platform.
WG nerfed the armor on this tank while I was in the middle of grinding it. They wanted to make it fit into the "sniper" tank line, so they nerfed the armor, but they forgot to buff the camo. Tier 8 416 and tier 10 K-91 have awesome camo, but the tier 9 has less camo than the 430U heavy tank.
Same for me, i was about to research turret when this "adjustments" came out, i finished grinding to k91 with the lowermost WR% from more than 30 tier nine tanks i have been playing. It's the worst t9 IMHO.

You have a back turret, not fully rotatable, can't brawl because it has no armor, bad for trading because you have 320 alpha gun. With the Obj. 430 II you could try sidescrape and the tracks absorbed some of the shells, in the K-91 you can't do that. So what left? Sniping, which is fine, but in my opinion, Leopard is a much better choice for that role.

I recently got my hands on the K-91, and I am actually enjoying it, and I enjoyed the whole line. But I am a mad man. The A-44 is one of my most favorite tanks. The top 3 tanks in the line are strictly support tanks and punish aggressive play, which is pretty counter intuitive. Yes, they are awkward to play, but they are not garbage, as long as you are not on the front line, fighting alone and hoping that you will lead the battle's development. Which is the usual for any support tank. Patience pays in those tanks. To get the best of them, you need to have a camouflage-first build and then use it - shoot from a distance and/or passive spot. Then you can flank and give direct support with all the DPM, without having to worry about armor. I played my 430 II too aggressively and the game hated me at the same time. 416 performed pretty damn well for me and I enjoyed it. K-91 is a DPM monster once it starts hitting. But I can't blame one for disliking the tanks. If you dislike the Object 416 for what it is, you will not like the others. If you like it, then each of them gets better than the previous. There is a lot to talk about them, but this is just the comment section.
The problem with these tanks is they are too limited to a certain gamestyle. They cant brawl and this tank cant even snipe. Still If this tank had camo as 416 I would have kept it. Without it it has nothing to offer. As it is it is just like t 54 but worse in nearly every aspect. Limited turret rotation, worse armour, worse camo, worse mobility. The only better things are aimtime and pen. But then again you could pick for instance type 61 that has about the same armour but has at least great gun depression, better accuracy and shell velocity.
Too late Skill. I already enjoyed this piece of kako. Strange thing is that I get good results with Obj 416... kept this tank in the Garage. Maybe you could do some video on this 416 some day 😉. Greetings from Austria
416 is the best light/TD hybrid, a tier 8 amx ELC / e-25. It's crazy fun. Tier 7, 9 are awful, tier 10 is meh. It has its moments, but struggles to find a reason to live.
Obj 416 has way better camo and 320 alpha on a tier 8 med is quite impressive. For 430v2, it doesn't really have realiable armor but lose a lot of camo, and the 320 alpha on a tier 9 is mediocre at best.
Thanks Skil! I was just about to use saved blueprints to unlock this, but I think I'll stick with my Obj. 430 with its amazing cammo. And use the blueprints for the Emil instead. Loving the videos.
430 II was among my favourite mediums because of sodescraping in cities and camo in open maps along with really good turret, for some reason they decided to take everything apart from camo away from it
I got my engine, radio, gun, ammo, tracks, and fuel tanks damaged or destroyed by one non-pen from an SU-14-1 in the A-44. Keep this in mind if you think you want to go for it, it literally has probably 100 health on each module
I had no idea they had nerfed this thing's armor. I was working towards it assuming it was still good. Sure enough, the turret is about 180mm effective with very large, weak cupolas, when it used to be about 260mm effective. Sides were nerfed from 80 to 60 as well.
I really enjoyed K91 line, it's a difficult tank line but the armor ( from tier 9 ) is trollish, dpm is good , I like playing them semi-aggressively, camo is nice so it can surprise your enemies. Plus, many people don't encounter them often so they don't know how to deal with them. K91 has 9 degrees of gun dep over the side, very nice for a Russian tier X.
Drinking game idea: Every time Skill says, "all the time in the world (of tanks)" -> take 1 shot, "pile of cuckoo.." -> take 2 shots, "it's completely fine" ->take 2 shots, "take/took one for the team" -> take 1 shot, "bush wanker" -> take 1 shot. Add more Skill's phrases and let's make it happen!! :D I have fun with your videos man!
The t8 obj 416 of this line it's actually a great tank just because of the gun and camouflage. It has the t54 gun with 330 premium pen(the best at t8 if I am not mistaken) and insane dpm for t8 medium. If you grind this line, be sure to do it just for this tank, because it's literally the only good one xD.
im currently on the 430 II and this isnt encouraging :( i loved the A-44 but i played it weirdly as a knife fighting tank, the 416 was the single most frustrating tank ive ever played and its sad to hear that the 430 II isnt going to be any better. thanks for the vid Skill :D
I ground out the obj 430 with this tank before the rework and I enjoyed it. Then I had to do it all again for the K-91 after the rework and boy, I really don’t like this new version. Needs a completely different play style, no more aggression just sit in the back and snipe because it really can’t take a hit anymore. I miss the old Obj 430 II, that was a fun tank to play.
This tank used to be very good at side scraping and even facing tier X with HEAT. Nowadays there's only 1 way to play it. It's a dedicated sniper. You need to have very good map knowledge to know where you can snipe. It has good gun handling and penetration so you need to play to that strength. Do not brawl, do not play aggressively at the start of the battle. If you don't see an ally far in front of you, you're playing this tank wrong. Later in the game you can use it to spot / circle enemies to finish off the game. But to be safe you should always play 445m away. Don't feel bad when you lose 2
The worst thing is, that I had to grind 2 tier X meds with this tank. Old 430 (they gave me 430U later) and K91. So I haven't grinded anything with 430, instead I have to enjoy this sh*t 2 times. Now it has better penetration (maybe overall gun-handling), but (esp. side) armor has gone.
i recently played through this line , the Tier 7 was a pile of trash, but i enjoyed my time with the tier 8,9 and 10. Maybe because i wasn't expecting anything from this line, but i'm having fun playing it, wich is something i cannot say for most line in this game..
I did well in this tank by my standards, but I used it as a spotter support fire medium, bushes are your friends! Camo net, vents, and bino, all very wrong to use no doubt for a medium tank but its camo is very good and if you play cautiously you can be effective. The K91 is better all round. Dpm, depression, camo, pen etc. Currently playing k91 the same way. Hey it works for me! ;) Though I do think you're correct, its a weak line vs the normal Russian mediums for an aggressive player.
Skill, I think this tank as currently designed is a waste of a medium slot. If you want to bushwank, use a TD designed for that. That said, it's interesting that you prefaced several moves by saying "I don't have the patience to bushwank". So you traded with an E5 and got outted by an EBR 90. Methinks you were trying to force a round peg (normal medium play with some armor/alpha, i.e. not this tank) into a square hole (bushwanker redline sniper play, i.e. this tank). Still love ya!
this was the first teir 9 i got up to but at that time it lead to the teir 10 obj. 430... 20k exp away and they made it the k91. made me very mad and i havent played it sense. ;(
I'm only at the Obj 416, and I won't be grinding past it. I love it as a sniper, but people say many nasty things at you for bush-wanking in a medium. I must have missed the glory days of this line, because the A-44 was a massive pile of kakoo for me.
Wow, I'm not playing game for some time, but sad to see what they did to my favourite tier 9. In my opinion this was by far the best tier 9, at least two years ago when played it. Always using most agressive positions, sidescraping, and enemies could do absolutely nothing...
I really do not see anything that would block this tank turett from turing 360 degrees.Same with ELC AMX,why can I turn my turett if i have the 75mm gun but I can't if i have the 90mm.Its just stupid.

damn.. once it was my heaviest armored tank in the garage.. it felt better than e100 and i loved it... the t8 was my first 3 mark because of the crazy camo and the nearly 3k dpm and the heat agaist t10
Skill I completely agree, this used to be like my favorite tank. It was a t54 that got better gun and better side scraping which lost fully rotatable turret. Now its HORRIBLE. To make it like maybe better make alpha 360? Like I don't even know, I stopped this game for three+ years and came back to find this tank sucks now? Like I used to play it like a heavy that could actually run away and snipe but now it dumb. Its fine tho have a fantastic day baboon king :)

Mines is not balance,wargaming move the spawn but the north spawn have advantage in encounter,because they can win the hill and have a very good position to cap and defend decaping in C-9,C-0 line.Its my opinion:P
I played up to the 416 which is garbage. The a43 was good but you are correct about the bonus damage. The non fully traversable turret is what killed it for me in the end.
Obj 430 II used to be my favorite tier 9 actually, then I took a few years away from the game. When I got back it seems really, really bad. I dont really know what differences it got compared to the old version, I havent seen the changelogs or anything, but it seems like something I rather want to sell for the credits(I can use that) then to keep in the garage.

not me.. I enjoyed the OBJ 416 all the way to tier 10. dong around 3K damage most of the time in them tanks is very enjoyable. im not wanking bush but being med defensive and aggressive when it requires such action. no full rotating turret is not standing in the way at all.
It was really really good I was one of the best players in it, but since it lost many of his armor it only good Youre doing an okayish job in it I love to play it very aggressive often people are astonished when they see a tank they nearly never saw and fail there shots when you wiggel and waggel you often can get the for track shots I love to olay it on the heavy or light side. When I play it with the heavys I sidescrape behind freindy tank and dap the 2 key when i play with lights you can bully them combined 5k with it should a average But when ther is a lemming train I drive ervy time with them this tank is perfect to build pressure and has a good dpm to farm fast enough when team is arriving And tbh I never had a problem to get double tracked with this tank You also can sidehug tanks with it than they panic really fast But i miss it really in earlyier days it was just beautiful nearly OP i would say

Not playing much I am grinding to the K91 for a long time. A44, Obj 416, right now just waiting to get 30%off for the 430II - OMG .. I had to do all this shit to get to the fabulous DPM-monster K 91 and now I am disappointed! Annd I can't say: it's allright with me...😁
I'm doing this because of top of the tree, but from whole line this is great pile of kaku. I'm grinding it from zero, and on stock this 201 penetration is kind of sick joke. No armor, low alpha, shit pen, shit gun depression, and almost everything else in this tank makes me sick.
It's maybe not the best tier IX, but that's what i like about these vehicles. Every idiot can play something like obj.430 and be influential. But with certain tanks you need a bit more skill and think about your moves in the game.

I went down this tank line to get obj 430u on console. Plus you can get 2 other tier 10 medium. Well, when I get 430u I'm stripping this piece of garbage and selling it. Screw the other 2 tanks. 280k exp to get 430u. I need about 60k more. Can't wait!

Yeah this line is definitely shit. I went thru this line for the change and like an ass waited for the K91 with the tier 10 already researched. And WG screwed me out of it, there was no way i was playing 290,000 more exp in that piece of crap. Can someone tell me why no matter what line i go down the T10 turns out to be shit? T110E5, AMX30 B, Rhinmetal panzer wagon, E100. Still waiting for WG to fix the E100 like they said they would. But NO, have to wait for double barreled tanks first....what complete horseshit!!

It was a fast sidescraping med which could ruin heavies gameplay with the heat

K 91 is very good. Monster DPM reload under 5 sec, best sniper schnizel in wot. good angling when turret is on side. Velocity of gun 1900 m/s !!!!!

Needs a completely different play style, no more aggression just sit in the back and snipe because it really can’t take a hit anymore.
I miss the old Obj 430 II, that was a fun tank to play.
But Skiiiill,, I thought you were going to play "3" battles!! LOL
This tank used to be very good at side scraping and even facing tier X with HEAT. Nowadays there's only 1 way to play it. It's a dedicated sniper. You need to have very good map knowledge to know where you can snipe. It has good gun handling and penetration so you need to play to that strength. Do not brawl, do not play aggressively at the start of the battle. If you don't see an ally far in front of you, you're playing this tank wrong. Later in the game you can use it to spot / circle enemies to finish off the game. But to be safe you should always play 445m away.

The worst thing is, that I had to grind 2 tier X meds with this tank. Old 430 (they gave me 430U later) and K91. So I haven't grinded anything with 430, instead I have to enjoy this sh*t 2 times. Now it has better penetration (maybe overall gun-handling), but (esp. side) armor has gone.
i recently played through this line , the Tier 7 was a pile of trash, but i enjoyed my time with the tier 8,9 and 10.
Maybe because i wasn't expecting anything from this line, but i'm having fun playing it, wich is something i cannot say for most line in this game..
I remember the days when i was playing in my Obj 430 v II against WT E100 and blocking all of his shells, good old times...
I did well in this tank by my standards, but I used it as a spotter support fire medium, bushes are your friends! Camo net, vents, and bino, all very wrong to use no doubt for a medium tank but its camo is very good and if you play cautiously you can be effective. The K91 is better all round. Dpm, depression, camo, pen etc. Currently playing k91 the same way. Hey it works for me! ;) Though I do think you're correct, its a weak line vs the normal Russian mediums for an aggressive player.

I think this tank as currently designed is a waste of a medium slot. If you want to bushwank, use a TD designed for that.
That said, it's interesting that you prefaced several moves by saying "I don't have the patience to bushwank". So you traded with an E5 and got outted by an EBR 90. Methinks you were trying to force a round peg (normal medium play with some armor/alpha, i.e. not this tank) into a square hole (bushwanker redline sniper play, i.e. this tank).

this was the first teir 9 i got up to but at that time it lead to the teir 10 obj. 430... 20k exp away and they made it the k91. made me very mad and i havent played it sense. ;(
I got to tier IX when i realised the line was kinda crap. I feel like both an utter failure and a succes given i've gone this far into the mud.

I'm only at the Obj 416, and I won't be grinding past it. I love it as a sniper, but people say many nasty things at you for bush-wanking in a medium. I must have missed the glory days of this line, because the A-44 was a massive pile of kakoo for me.
Me finally getting my favourite tank and getting oneshot- with fire on top to finish me in the first game of the day is what makes me alt f4

Wow, I'm not playing game for some time, but sad to see what they did to my favourite tier 9. In my opinion this was by far the best tier 9, at least two years ago when played it. Always using most agressive positions, sidescraping, and enemies could do absolutely nothing...

I really do not see anything that would block this tank turett from turing 360 degrees.Same with ELC AMX,why can I turn my turett if i have the 75mm gun but I can't if i have the 90mm.Its just stupid.

damn.. once it was my heaviest armored tank in the garage.. it felt better than e100 and i loved it... the t8 was my first 3 mark because of the crazy camo and the nearly 3k dpm and the heat agaist t10
Skill I completely agree, this used to be like my favorite tank. It was a t54 that got better gun and better side scraping which lost fully rotatable turret. Now its HORRIBLE. To make it like maybe better make alpha 360? Like I don't even know, I stopped this game for three+ years and came back to find this tank sucks now? Like I used to play it like a heavy that could actually run away and snipe but now it dumb. Its fine tho have a fantastic day baboon king :)

Does the tier X also has a non completly turnable turret?
Mines is not balance,wargaming move the spawn but the north spawn have advantage in encounter,because they can win the hill and have a very good position to cap and defend decaping in C-9,C-0 line.Its my opinion:P
I played up to the 416 which is garbage. The a43 was good but you are correct about the bonus damage. The non fully traversable turret is what killed it for me in the end.

Obj 430 II used to be my favorite tier 9 actually, then I took a few years away from the game. When I got back it seems really, really bad. I dont really know what differences it got compared to the old version, I havent seen the changelogs or anything, but it seems like something I rather want to sell for the credits(I can use that) then to keep in the garage.
Hi Skill, I stopped the grind after the frying pan and then sold the T-44. I will now sell the frying pan as well and use the crew on a better tank.

not me.. I enjoyed the OBJ 416 all the way to tier 10. dong around 3K damage most of the time in them tanks is very enjoyable. im not wanking bush but being med defensive and aggressive when it requires such action. no full rotating turret is not standing in the way at all.

I love to play it very aggressive often people are astonished when they see a tank they nearly never saw and fail there shots when you wiggel and waggel you often can get the for track shots
I love to olay it on the heavy or light side.
When I play it with the heavys I sidescrape behind freindy tank and dap the 2 key when i play with lights you can bully them combined 5k with it should a average
But when ther is a lemming train I drive ervy time with them this tank is perfect to build pressure and has a good dpm to farm fast enough when team is arriving
And tbh I never had a problem to get double tracked with this tank
You also can sidehug tanks with it than they panic really fast
But i miss it really in earlyier days it was just beautiful nearly OP i would say
I think in the first battle you fitted my playstyle with it really good - unfortunately you played not safe enough from the snipers - but I hope you can get the idea
These tanks should probably be compared to Leo and Leo PTA now. Which IMHO are far far far better tanks :)
Not playing much I am grinding to the K91 for a long time. A44, Obj 416, right now just waiting to get 30%off for the 430II - OMG .. I had to do all this shit to get to the fabulous DPM-monster K 91 and now I am disappointed!

I grinded this tank when it was going to the former 430 , current 430u. It was very painful to get to tier x... i would not recommend it either
I'm doing this because of top of the tree, but from whole line this is great pile of kaku. I'm grinding it from zero, and on stock this 201 penetration is kind of sick joke. No armor, low alpha, shit pen, shit gun depression, and almost everything else in this tank makes me sick.
It's maybe not the best tier IX, but that's what i like about these vehicles. Every idiot can play something like obj.430 and be influential. But with certain tanks you need a bit more skill and think about your moves in the game.
You really dont see these tanks in battles much. Not even replays on youtube. Hey skil since you are doing obsolete medium tanks e50 maybe. I think it also has been forgotten

I went down this tank line to get obj 430u on console. Plus you can get 2 other tier 10 medium. Well, when I get 430u I'm stripping this piece of garbage and selling it. Screw the other 2 tanks. 280k exp to get 430u. I need about 60k more. Can't wait!

The 430-II ist a bad tank, but the 416 is not. So balancing the 430-II can be done by increasing the dpm, speed, camo, accuray, dispersion,...

Yeah this line is definitely shit. I went thru this line for the change and like an ass waited for the K91 with the tier 10 already researched. And WG screwed me out of it, there was no way i was playing 290,000 more exp in that piece of crap. Can someone tell me why no matter what line i go down the T10 turns out to be shit? T110E5, AMX30 B, Rhinmetal panzer wagon, E100. Still waiting for WG to fix the E100 like they said they would. But NO, have to wait for double barreled tanks first....what complete horseshit!!
