If Ru picked we know it would’ve been Shangela bc it was not subtle, but the cast picked & it was Trixie, a queen who is unquestionably just as talented as Shangela & Delia. Also everything happens for a reason so Trixie was ultimately meant to have her crown. We just know had the decision been made the usual way & the cards fell differently it was probably would’ve been Shangela.

I saw Jaymes live on the Comedy Queens tour around Australia a month ago and oh my god she was so fucking hilarious. Genuinely a shame she didn't get too much recognition on Drag Race. I do love the drama of the eliminations and stuff but it does make me a bit sad that we lose the chance to see more of the talent.
But the difference is Orion and Daya were never meant to go home, whereas the only reason Naysha was brought back was because Dax and Laila fucked their lipsync so bad they were both eliminated and Ru was missing a queen for the season to continue. Instead of going for a double save they chose to bring back Naysha. But still. She was fully eliminated. If either Dax or Laila had stepped it up, Naysha wouldn't have been brought back at all.
I think the Andy Cohen/RuPaul bit is often misinterpreted. I understand it as Ru saying which out of all the uncrowned queens deserves a crown the most. Not over anyone else’s crown. Just like if she had an extra spare crown. I don’t think Ru would discredit Trixie intentionally as she’s one of the biggest pulls for WoW. (Not to mention how Ben was on course to sweep the crown initially) Ru just lives in his own world.
I really badly want to see the return of Alisa Summers to Drag Race. I felt she had a lot more to her that she never got a chance to show on Drag Race. And i really badly want to see the return of Lineysha Sparkx, even though she wasnt a first out. Both of these queens need a second chance!
