Hahaha I love it! WA state is my home, and I've been to almost all of these places (grew up spending summers at "the worlds longest beach"). The sun definitely disappears FAST! Glad to see your travels and the realness of car struggles and no parking zones! Makes me feel better about my road trips! Thanks for sharing! You're making me crave another trip!
YAAASSSS!!!! My boyfriend and I used to live at Fort McHenry which is right before the Astoria Megler bridge, and he was a park ranger at Cape Disappointment while we were there!!! So many memories! Wish I knew beforehand and I could tell you some rad off-the-beaten path nature areas there!
Long Beach is great! You should see it on the 4th of July. Thousands of people cover the beach and are all doing fireworks and then the city does a big show as well. It's the most mesmerizing hours and hours long show ever! Can't wait to see your Oregon vlog. It's my home state. I live just outside of Portland.
