    Question: Are all these types of games (Aether Gazer, Snowbreak, Honkai Impact 3rd, Punishing Gray Raven and this one) running on the same engine? The graphics look so much the same, not necessarily the art direction but the overall look of the games.

      A little bit of research later and it seems like they mostly run on Unity, which doesn't explain why they look the way they do at all. Genshin which is also a mobile game that runs on unity looks completely different, both the character models, effects and environment. So is there a version of Unity that are made for development on mobile devices or is there some other reason? Someone with development experience on this type of games or at least some knowledge on unity please enlighten me.

    >the more i progressed, the more confused i got
    the arknights story experience, speaking as a new player. Games fun, but the main plot desperately desperately desperately needs a head writer that is capable of being more concise in the story's presentation. Shame to see that enfield continues this tradition.

      You must have read starting few chapters and assumed this is the quality of writing.

      @@YandereENjoyer4469 funny enough i do, but most side stories have this trouble too. I've been trying to do side stories to get that business theme for my main menu and my conclusion is I think the best Arknights writing gets is when it zooms in on particular characters rather than focusing on regional plots. The writing actually had me really invested in Team A6, each member is really compelling and seeing their interactions leaves me wanting more.
      Popukar explaining her introduction to Rhodes Island and Orchid showing the tyke some sympathy, Catapult lazing around and getting in trouble with her superiors, Midnight and Spot going back and forth with each other yet clearly respecting each other... and all of the team supporting each other... the only problem i have with their story is that they're all 3 stars, so I can't get more, haha

    Looks good but I can’t stand games that bombard you with overly complex gameplay and tutorials and a story that doesn’t make sense. So many mobile games these days has like 10 different currencies and a dozen different progression mechanics like leveling, gear, enchanting, crafting, etc games should just have some basic mechanics and then build on that later on. Same with story start simple and then it can go deeper further on. I still think FF7 is a great example of a game that starts out fairly simple but slowly becomes deeper as it progresses. Persona 3 and 4 are very good in this regard as well. Or maybe I’m just getting old and can’t handle new games. Apart from remakes and remasters I think JRPGs peaked around Persona 3 and 4.

    • @xflora-chanx
      @xflora-chanx 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Dude you obviously never played shin megami tensei series which is the original games of the "spin off" of persona series to say that. It's like comparing digimon with pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh with card fight Vanguard or sword art online with hack.// series.
      Final fantasy series is dead now after number 10 because of a new writer taken over.
      These games are more memorable like this new game coming because of the very strong story and complex fixing to beat the game. It stays with you for a life time. There's many games that shouldn't be touched or even pay full price with. This game isn't one of them.
