Basically, you are the... ✨ body ✨ in my anatomy class, aka you are a deceased person that I, a med student, am carefully examining and cutting apart to study the way the human body is built. Don't worry, you agreed to this... or did you?

What even is ASMR?
ASMR describes a feeling of pleasant goosebumps (this is also called tingles). You may it know from when someone scratched your scalp or your back. ASMR videos trigger this feeling using various different sounds and visuals.
ASMR can help people fall asleep. It also calms anxiety and can be used for both relaxation and focusing on a task.

Very late to my own party but why does it look like I have a double chin… Ahhhh this perspective is not flattering at all T.T
I didnt notice. I would like to see more at this angle like surgeries or maybe a surgeon that takes someone hostage and you want to run taste tests or remove their senses. Just a tought. Really loved the video. :)

Awesome! This is one of my post-life goals. Others are donating an organ or being used in a more ”kinetic” anatomical/medical study that can be used to verify replicas in simulations and model studies.
I’d love to see similar videos with ”more accurate” sounding mock for the cavader/human. Maybe nothing too grotesque, but something that sounds more skin-like.
I really liked the concept, and the metallic sound of the instruments. You also acted really well! All together this was a great video and I personally would enjoy seeing more similar videos!

i have a certain respect for anyone who works in the medical field, and then also med students. i’m fascinated by your fascination for the human body and how it all is together. i’m pretty scared of like, what’s beneath everything, like how you may have a real arm that’s been donated showcasing muscles or something like that. to keep my sanity i never get ahead of myself and dive deeper into anything. but i hope i can get my skullcap back after this? 😂 amazing video! very relaxing. 😴
I will admit, working on real bodies took some getting used to in the beginning but at some point you get used to it 😅

Loved this Lotta, thanks so much!! don’t know how something could be so macabre, interesting and charming all in only 17 mins - (also I know this sounds a bit crazy but I read a book by Mary Roach - Stiff - about cadavers and honestly such an interesting read. She writes with such charisma, empathy and humour about how they’re used to help us evolve and learn - couldn’t recommend it enough ✨✨
It’s been on my TBR for ages but I wasn’t able to find a good second-hand copy so far and it’s crazy expensive if I was to buy it new… one day! 🥲
I love Mary Roach! So far I've only read her book "Packing for Mars" but Stiff is next on my list! Fascinating topic and excellent author, I can't wait to get ahold of a copy 😁
