@mario boi well *actually* if characters go "off model" repeatedly as a choice and they do not have a base model to go off of besides a basic idea then as long as they share color schemes they are still "on model"

It's amazing how drawing a frame again in a "1 frame per vowel" animation changes the entire feel of a character. From characters like batman, ivy and gus which are calm and level headed to peppino, pizza face and the joker which are wacky/crazy, stressed out and/or just plain scared
Gustavo being less Italian than Peppino is so funny to me.
He sounded a bit like Goofy.
Gustavo is actually a gnome that just happens to look like a cartoonish representation of an italian. It's convergent evolution.

Pizza Tower is doing what most AAA games never manage: creating a rabid fanbase in less than a month after it's release.

No, he's spot on. There's less than zero reason given. If Pizzaface didn't show up when you ran out of time in a level I'd be convinced Peppino hallucinated the entire character.
This was my theory in my head before I beat the game.
I think pizza face wanted peppinos delicious pizza for himself but pizza face is an Eldridge horror so he used physiological warfare and threatened to destroy the pizzeria with a laser machine that’s not even there when you fight him
Based on this video and this video alone it would seem to me he wants revenge for the clearly alive and conscious ingredients peppino kills for his pizzas

The story felt complete tbh. Pizzahead doing some other wacky thing wouldn't be as cool as the first time
Also, how will the sequel have a boss that is gonna be better than the final battle from the first game

Not to mention they're always a highlight for my day.
If I were to hire ANYONE as a voice for Peppino for an animated movie or series or whatever, you would be the guy. You capture his energy absolutely perfectly, an excellent mix of barely contained fury and overwhelming anxiety that just *drips* from every word he speaks like the beads of sweat that fall from his bushy-yet-curly italian mustache.
I love how there’s one singular frame of Peppino realizing he has no idea where he is
The worst part of Pizza Tower is that there isn’t more of it.
Thankfully the levels encourage you to practice them to get better ranks.
