    I almost died once working in 110degree climate, I woke up in the military tent clinic, this happened in Iraq.

    Synthetics and technical fabrics always are better than cotton!

    At 2:37 minute of video: ... silk and coton fabric allow air to pass through to keep cool your body... As we know, all fabrics don't protect the same way, those in coton blocks only 5-7% of harmful sun rays and sun protective fabrics with (UPF 50+) block 98% of sun's rays. Also, usually they are technical fabric and breathable. What do you think?

      This statement in the video is about heat stress rather than sun exposure

      Thank you for your answer. However the description of video seems to be : "This video illustrates the dangers of sun exposure and heat stress, and describes what workers can do to protect themselves."I found out that more details about UV fabrics are in other documents available on Sun Safety At Work (SSAW).

      That's great! One video can't carry all of the messages on sun safety. There are many other resources available on the topic.
