The uniqueness of this car makes it so special … caymans in general are low numbered cars here in Quebec canada … so when I see a well modded cayman or even a gt4 … it is quite a moment. It is truly a gem and underdog in a world where 911s have become the norm to my eye.

Last week I was in the surroundings of the Sustenpass and I drove the Gothardpass, what an amazing scenerie! Coming from Luxembourg these are exceptionnal roads. Will definately return in my GT3 Touring, petrol head's paradise !❤

I love my GT4 RS. I am fortunate to also own a 992 GT3 (manual), and a 992 GT3 RS (and a 992 GT3 Cup and Macan S). Hard to pick which one I like best since they are all very different, yet amazing.

Well there will be another for sure, waiting for the 992.2 now but more so I love experiences and this one I just could not forget about, also the 992 series had many issues in the end so was also partly a slight let down as good as it was. The 4RS however is better put together than the 992.

I own a GT4RS myself and I concur 100% with your comments about the car. It is such an emotional and unique Porsche! And yes, the downshifts, love them too, and even more pushing the gear lever! 🤩

The production quality of your videos are great, man...and the dog at 9:25 was sharing the same look as I was while the barista was making the...espresso cordino rosso (?!?!?!). I love the angles and clips showing just how many pedestrians are out in Europe walking and cycling, as well as your respect for them in what would be considered tight conditions, certainly here in the US.
Your videos really motivate me to do something so I can own a car like this myself. I'm in love with the new GT3 and GT4. Congratulations on the car!

Its funny, I came across your chanell just recently. LOVE YOUR WORK!!! But I am watching videos all out of order as they get put into my home feed. Watching this one after watching the one that you explain why you had to get rid of this car. Interesting seeing you so excited early on. Even how you comment on the carbon air box and love the sound, considering that is the thing that seemed to be the final straw to get rid of it.

Wow - same spec than mine. Besides the blueish wheels. I went for an all black one. The car is definetly special. 7800 km and 100 laps on the ring later it's still special to drive it around. Though the factory setup and the sponginess of the suspension on the Ring drives me nuts (and yes - Manthey setup and allingment already on). I'm eagerly waiting for the KW4 MR suspension.
Anyway - keep it up! And enjoy the car as much as i do!

It’s similar to Aperol & Campari; quite disgusting to mix with espresso. Some special people got the idea to mix the two & it’s horrid.
Campari is good as a mixed alcohol drink, but not so much with coffee/espresso.

Beautiful car!! I do agree the engine is the soul of the automobile and helps establish its character along with drivetrain and suspension. The car’s appearance certainly plays a role but what lies beneath the appearance establishes its character. Kind of like people. Some have looks but dig deeper and the intrigue fads. You’re fortunate when you find the complete package that draws you in and keeps you interested. And still even after a long relationship thrills you every time you were together. A great car is often better at doing this then people. That’s sad to say but I think it’s fair to call it a truth…

I know you already appreciate this car Luke, but to *really* understand how good it is, doing a back to back with your car and a 2005 2.7 Cayman would hammer home just how far the Cayman has evolved and improved. When you get used to a 992 GT3, a GT4 RS might not seem that quick, but those two Caymans are worlds apart.

7:10 You gotta be out of your damn mind riding a bike on a road like this. Maybe it's because I live in wide-open Arizona, but this looks CRAZY to me. The road is barely wide enough for two cars to pass and this guy is comfortable trusting motorists not to put him in the hospital. Impressive.
It’s like anything, this is normal to us so we are use to it, when you don’t know different you adjust to your surroundings.

Oh, I hear ya. I was born in England but haven't been back there driving since 2014, an adjustment from driving in the States, for sure. And yeah, we acclimate.
But I'm thinking more of the point of view of the cyclists. They put heavy trust in complete strangers operating big metal objects that can be life-changing if not handled correctly mere inches from their bodies. Kind of crazy on their parts.

Props for sticking with the GT4. They are nice, I just don't think my wife will ever let us swap our GT3 RS out for anything. The fun factor is just too good.

@@carswithluke I think it gives it a nice contrast over black on black. Subtle without being in your face. For me black cars look more sophisticated? So subtle elegance as it’s setup is just beautiful. Enjoy your new baby.
