I just picked up the A4-H2O and was looking at PSUs for it. How are the cable lengths on the 2024 SF750? I'm not sure whether I'd need custom cables or not to keep the build looking neat.
Good question, no need to worry about custom cables, they come shipped with their own custom braided cables, so you won’t have to buy any extra mods and the cables are much looser then custom cables from CableMod so you’ll have a blast installing this PSU. Even the 2x 6 pin to 12VHPWR cable is included. So you’ll pretty much get an ATX 3.0 ready PSU out of the box.
I have a old corsair SF750 and a 4090 Does it make sense to upgrade to the SF750 ATX3.1 version for the upcoming 5090? Any advantges of the SF750 ATX3.1 vs the old one?
Besides an aesthetic change, i won’t a need to upgrade if I was you, unless nvidia decided to pump TDP of the 5090 by a lot. Only difference between two is that you now get a 12VHPWR to 2x6pin PCIe cable included with all the other traditional pcie cables which makes this psu PCIe 5.1 compatible.
Which psu are you rocking in your build?
I'll have to get me one of these since my new case has clearance issues with the my current PSU/GPU combo.
What case are you rockin’? And what’s your gpu and psu at the moment?

If you have the cable, spare your dollars/euros 😁
