Love your work - thank you sir...Any possibility of a tour of 1950's "when worlds collide" space ark? That would be challenging!

This is really cool! I don't remember if you talked about this in the video, but did you have any inspiration from other ships?

The design of the ship based on the mission statement. Once you define what the ship needs to do you then build the tech. and power to do it. Each is a result of research on the particular component. As for the general shape this was more of a didn't want than a did want it to look like. That is no cylinders, balls for disks shapes. I actually wanted more of an organic look.

I loved it. What would be the ships complement, just 15? It looks like there are nearly as many officers as crew.

Because of the mission statement, most of the crew are science officers. We have a small number of non-officers.

Just a suggestion: the Bravo Zulu 88 from Italian flick Spacemen aka Assigment Outer Space. ( th-cam.com/video/5inySyAPVOw/w-d-xo.html ). It was in turn based on the good old Lindberg 3 stage transport ship kit. I absolutley LURV that movie. The ship actually reappeared in Battle Of The Planets ( th-cam.com/video/mQXrTt7mJ-I/w-d-xo.html ), which I love even more. The typical thing is that in spite of these movies being very Italian B stuff and the acting sometimes even stiffer then in Rocky Jones the plots are rather good and the science surprisingly accurate in a von Braun / Chesly Bonestell sort of way.

Looking at all your stuff, I am forced to say that while TH-cam animations are nice, they will never surpass .stl files on Thingiverse! I just wish I could contact Lugodoc about his Alpha 7 model...
