Love Texas house
But property tax too high
That is one downside. Texas has no state income tax so that was a huge plus for me moving here from CA. My property tax here is about 1/3 of what my property tax was in CA (I was in new construction in CA and we had Mello-Roos tax). It ends up working out for some people and not so much for others. Just depends on each persons situation.

Your homes are beautiful and nice but your taxes ruin it
Definitely understandable. It’s all relative, it works out for a lot of people but also doesn’t work out for a lot of other people.
For us it was great. We were at a 2.75% tax rate in CA (our community had a mello-roos tax), on an $800k home (you can do the math lol). In Texas, we are at a 2.4% tax rate on a $400k home, saving us a ton of money on property taxes. Plus no state income tax.
In cypress or how far from bridgeland or jubilee
This is in the North part of Spring, about 30 minutes from Bridgeland and Jubilee.
My family in Cali says all the time they love the weather but hate the traffic and fuel prices 😂
Yeah same with my family. Slowly but surely they’re all making the move out here too
