I'll be headed to stueben county, on october twenty second.. My family has had a lease there for thirty years. I'm pretty sure that's right near where you are. Good luck this season
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA that’s a good point. I’m sure from their perspective, they’re using them as a YOY revenue generator. 1.75 next year and 2.0 the next.
John Lusk mentioned that the issue for Sevr was figuring out the extra weight of the bleeder on the hybrid, and how to produce them across the other blade sizes.
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I wasn't sure with the left rotation in flight and then the right bevel on the broadhead trying to go the other way when it impacts.
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA Those will definitely work, I know women who have used the Helix and 40lbs and 400 grain arrows drop elk and deer. These look really similar, I'll try them out one day. Good luck this year.
My perspective: I have equipment trust issues….been a die hard fixed blade guy for a very long time. I’m shooting SEVR mechanicals for the first time this year….I went with the Hybrid. My reason is if the thing fails…I’ve still got a small little fixed blade hitting hard as long as I do my part.
I shoot fixed as well but I’m tempted to take this hybrid sevr or the hybrid mini afflictor afield (that video drops next week) or both and see how they do because I do have high confidence in them
NEITHER! Why would anyone take a chance on a mechanical head NOT working? Yea, there are many stories where they do work and many where they don’t. All the time and money you spent on getting ONE SHOT at 23 yards and you poke a hole in him like a field point arrow does. Now, what’s that fancy hyped up piece of junk good for? Just my thoughts. Use a very very sharp quality fixed blade head and the only excuse you have is you- not a mechanical head.
I mean we all (at bco) hunt with fixed heads currently but we have all killed with zero issues with mechanicals as well, the probability of failure is so minute with a good mechanical head That is coming from someone who hunts with fixed heads I just understand everyone has their ways of doing it and if it works for them I’m all for it
Honestly all your testing on the Hybrid it's so impressive I just decided to go with these instead of the Mini-mag. Thanks guys!
You betcha man! The performance talks in our vids and that hybrid is TALKIN’!
You are gonna love them!
Nice video Guys, Don't see anything bad with both, they will do the job for sure 👍
1000%!
I think I’d take the hybrid just for that extra cut
Either would kill it!
I think they are good mechanical broadheads. Cool review
Yessir pretty sweet side by side!

It’s not to far from us!
When it comes to Sevr my faves are the Robusto 150 & the Titanium 100 two inch
I like your style!
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA Right back atcha!!
🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽
Move your gel block in to 5 yds and dial your site to 45. It will make it much easier to hit where you want to hit on the block...
I’m good I want it at 20 yards for an actual test
Doesn’t help I had my dial set to 25 yards 🤣
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA you lose roughly 8 to 10 ft per second from point blank to 20 yards.
Was shooting the 2.0 just ordered a batch of 1.5 hybrids
Hell ya man!
Im going with the sevr hybrid this year
I like it!
And the Afflictor K2-Hybrids
@aaronrogers8946 that’s a great quiver right there!!
You won't be dissapointed!
When you cook those blocks, the entry and wound channels clear up?
It remelts it so it’ll be like shooting a brand new block again
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I wish they rolled out a 1.75 hybrid this year. That will be tough to beat!
I wish they just offered a hybrid in all sizes
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA that’s a good point. I’m sure from their perspective, they’re using them as a YOY revenue generator. 1.75 next year and 2.0 the next.
@brentbandy3566 they still would be if they dropped all of them this year lol
John Lusk mentioned that the issue for Sevr was figuring out the extra weight of the bleeder on the hybrid, and how to produce them across the other blade sizes.
@brianbarney-yt1yp they’ll get it figured out it would be insane with the 1.75
So wait are you shooting the left helical with the Kayuga?
I am indeed flies like a dart 🤌🏽
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA I wasn't sure with the left rotation in flight and then the right bevel on the broadhead trying to go the other way when it impacts.
@KTMsoldier1988 I wasn’t sure either but it hammers em, tons of rotation in the gel and blew right through the whitetail last fall
Kayugas: Aussie!
I love my kayuga pilot cut gen 2 🤌🏽🤌🏽
I shoot the Sevr off my crossbow. Just got a few hybrids to run this year
Hell ya! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA it's a badass mechanical best one on the market in my opinion
@inthemountainswithmeachum3256 from reapers afflictor or sevr are the only mechanicals I’d use
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA only off my crossbow
The kayugas off my hoyt 🎯
I thought a person wasn't a hunter unless they shot rage's..
😂
Well shit I ain’t ever been a hunter then 🤣🤣
Dang it... What have I been doing this whole time?? haha
How much does the o ring weigh?
That’s a great question I can’t remember off the top of my head
I don’t think there is a wrong answer here
I agree!
Which broadhead do you think you will use this year?
I’m leaning to this still

@johnnewcomb5162 hell ya I need to test those helix still!
You as well man!
What about the 1.75 ones?
Did you see the rage vs Sevr vid that dropped this week? It was the Sevr 1.75
No I’ll check it out I didn’t. I’m asking because I bought the 1.75’s and was wondering about them. I’m using them this year. Thanks 🙏🏽
@juanrodriguez-mu7ko yessir got you!
OG 1.5 is proven imo
That may be true but nothing I see here says the 1.5 hybrid will be any different at all

Sevr is the only mechanical i would use. I got a couple hybrids, but i like my Qads..might try the black hornets from magnus soon though
