Post more videos please Mr. Owens. I am getting tired (no, not really) of always watching these videos because they are fantastic. This one is truly perfect in my ears.
The only Bellinian and Dinizettian Tenor of Today!!! Your Beautiful, well builded Voice is so so amazing! I haven’t heard a tenor singing this role so nicely since Gianni Raimondi! But you are even better 🥰
I know you are a Lanza fan. I remember years ago seeing you do some Marjo Lanza songs for family, it's remarkable how the way you approach phrases and emote make you sound like him sometimes (with more real disciplined operatic culture). Especially in the high notes and passagio. Well done
Keep good work, i'm a fan since your first posts... it's very nice seeing you grow. That acoustic seemed to be killing you, lol. Best wishes, i can feel your passion, think you are a star
I really enjoyed your Rodolfo at the Kammeroper last winter - looking forward to hearing you as Don Ramiro! Besides I think you are quite a good actor, always taking it seriously, but not overacting it makes you look and sound very authentic on stage! In this recording of Roberto Devereux' aria on the other hand you could have done better with less acting I think. It doesn't sound very relaxed in the middle part - I like the ending though, the acting looks natural here! :-)
Really enjoyed your performance of a very difficult scene. Are you about to perform the role? I am going to see all three Donizetti "Queen" operas this October on consecutive evenings with Welsh National Opera in Liverpool ,so really looking forward to this beautiful scene. Well Done from the UK
Nice c#!!!! Way to go, bro!!! NOW SILENZIO until Wednesday!!! I'll allow you to cut Donizetti's music just this one time!! As there's no chorus, I guess it's okay!!! LOL. Toi-toi-toi. I'll be thinking of you. S.
Does he still sing? This clip is a good example of the desperate pushing that destroys fine voices - as in the case of virtually every crash and burn tenor trained at AVA.
impostazione della voce precaria . vibrato della voce sbagliatissimo . questo bravo ragazzo ha migliorato il legato nella sua voce purtroppo e ancora lontano del legato lirico vero . questa è la mia modesta opinione .
Very heroic final note! ❤
Something incredible.
Perfect tenor as it should look like!!!
Thank you for performing this beautiful scene at the Kammeroper this evening - really enjoyed listening to you.
Just fabulous Andrew!!! Great dynamics without sacrificing technique. The 5 thumbdowns you received must be people who are jealous of you.
WOW, just awesome! Thanks for posting this! Hope Andrew's dreams come true!

Great Tenor!
Excellent control and has the tenor range naturally with a classic, lyric sound.

superrrrr

Brava
вот это да!!!!
oh god.
With a vowel at the end of your name you're probably already a star. Sad to say. Great singing!
+Terry Deane No with a vowel at the end of his name is a Magic act on the end of a pier... The Amazing Owenso
Terry Deane Maria Callas didn't have a vowel at the end of her name and yet...

Hot.
I meant to say, there is stuff to learn from you about real good singing.
Чем-то на Петра Бечалу похож.
Нothing special

Yes, still very much singing ;)
@@tenorandrewowens gotta love passive-aggressive nonspecific shit talking huh? lol. the internet is ridiculous.
He isn't pushing here...or anywhere for that matter.
The only tenors who crash and burn at AVA are Schumann students. And he doesn’t sound like he trained with Schumann
to make such a statement you must have a prolific career and I suppose you've sung... how many roles??
