I love the chaos when you guys were trying to double up but bob couldn’t find him😂 You always feel like you are giving your buddy the best instructions possible when in reality you’re barely helping at all. My group had missed out on many deer the same exactway😂

Well made film, great camera work, great adventure. I understand the excitement of taking an animal after an incredible amount of hard work, I just can’t deal with all the cursing. Might be silly to some, but I think it will be a difference maker when it comes down to the amount of fans or subscribers you’ll be able to attain.

Looks like you guys crank that scope all the way up and when you switch shooters the second guy has a hard time finding deer. Roll that zoom off a bit til you find the deer. I think that would help some of the struggle. I've noticed that in several of the videos. Hunting WA looks a lot like the Frank here in ID with deer densities lol.

Nicely edited video. I just wish you'd try and harvest larger, more mature deer instead of these smaller young bucks. 8 for the video. 9 for the physical effort. 3 for choosing to harvest young deer.

Great content guys but fix the audio issues. Audio is such a huge part of the film and I can’t hear half of it… keep up the good work
Hunting is very tough with audio. Half the time you are whispering and you have a lot of noise in the background with an outdoor setting. We try our best and sometimes the speaker system can make this worse depending on output settings. We will try to improve it though!

Hunting is not in decline. In Idaho we are invaded from from from Washington state as soon as snow melts. Here they come camping and then hunting. The locals you rarely see because there's too many people out there for our tastes. Far from decline

Try changing what speakers you use, it was consistent at our film night so TH-cam may have compressed whispering and such to make it inconsistent. Try headphones. Sorry for the the audio.

So you spine a deer, know he’s laying there slowly dying, and instead of going to finish him off…. You make coffee and have a snack. I’ve only watched a handful of your videos and really hope bad judgement calls like that aren’t the norm. Maybe I’ll come back after a while but I made it to that point and turned it off. Be better.
At the time we didn’t know it was a spinal shot, via the footage it looked like a great high shoulder shot. So like we’ve always done we gave the animal time to expire which is considered the norm, that’s why when we arrived at the buck we were surprised by it being alive, it’s very clear by our reactions it was a surprise to us. Assumptions are made, and most assumptions are wrong. Be better.
You can see it flop around for 2 minutes before it cuts to y’all making coffee. Dude even says at 21:30 “I’m pretty sure I spinaled him in the top of the neck”. So after watching him flop, and SAYING it was a spinal shot, how did you think it was a high shoulder hit? (Lil woodsmanship tip here: high shoulder typically hits lung, lung shot deer don’t bleat out. Bleating requires air, air requires lungs. )
