I do believe that you have some merit in your statement however humans in addition to having difficulty showing love have difficulty expressing most positive emotions sure we may put on a happy face in public but when we’re alone when we realize all of the flaws with our world it all fades away and in our inner most thoughts we know the truth humanity is incapable of changing Because we continue to make the same mistakes time and time again which leads even more people to also make those mistakes in the future humans are possibly the only creature on the planet that have achieved sentence and awareness and yet we squander that potential we say we feel regret and shame when it comes to things like war and fighting yet has that stopped us from continuing to do so no it has not unless humanity takes real steps the world will continue on as it is violence will always be present no matter what but unless humanity actually takes steps to dull the violence this world will never become any better than it currently is.
