I think this might officially be the dumbest ML in drama history. His relationship with the SFL cost the lives of his entire family. Not only did he believe everything the SFL told him, he ignored all evidence that contradicted what she said. Even when it was given to him by professionals such as doctors and police officers. This despite he himself being a police officer. You would think he'd believe the evidence over anything else. This man was in a serious state of denial. He deserved everything that happened to him at the end and more. I'm just sorry so many innocents had to suffer because of his stupidity.

The Male lead (Huang Bo ) plays a cop with a serious case of denial. This lends to his detriment.

He had the chance.... the opportunity to rescue and save her. But he would rather spend all his time with and believe the lies of the one who manipulated him and caused her death in the first place. That mistress never liked him. She played him for a darn fool, and he always fell for it.

I like this type of story, and I think this short drama executes this pretty well (in a lot of webnovels, the MLs are even more unreasonable than this). The story flows well and I enjoy it very much.
