Amazing ! As usual. Made right. I like the double cradle frame and centered exhaust port. I wish simple, beautiful air cooled, twin shock 2 stroke bikes were still produced today. What a play bike that would be.
They’re just so pretty! 😍😍😍😍. The early 80’s Ancillotti watercooled 125’s are the most beautiful motocross bikes ever made in my opinion. This 250 is gorgeous!
Hi Chris, that's great UK finally discovered the great golden age of italian MX. Ancillotti owns patents used right now by big companies, like conic steering bearings or the rear swing linked to silent blocks instead of bearin gs, and the rear brake linked to the frame to reduce the damping. All Ancillotti patents you have there on this beautiful one of a kind perfect piece. Check also TGM SWM AIM Kramit and most of all Cagiva, 2 times MX world champion in the 80's. ...just.. please, spell it 'anchillotti' ...like 'lancha' ;D
@@monticlassictv LoL ...actually Ancillotti has been the first in 1980 to produce a machine with a mono swing arm suspension as we still know it today . I'm looking for a Hiro 250 test with sound engine. It would be great to have more dynamic test from you. And thanks for the channel.
looks nice but think the forward drive shaft position would affect the rear suspension quality. Only maico out of the the small manufacturers had it right in my opinion.
My dad went to school with the Annear brothers who now run St.Blazey MX. He told me they rode Aspez and Cagiva. Are there any features coming up on those?
Sorry, it's actually Aspes. I got my first bike when I was 14 and it was an Aspes Navaho 50cc (1972). One actually took off the front and rear lights and the bike (if you were not rich and couldn't afford race specs parts) was ready for the Regional Motocross Championship, where it represented the vast majority of machines and performed very very well, even in the hands of "normal" riders. It was extremely light (you could lift it with your teenager's muscles) and very, very agile. In "civilian" use it was extremely uncomfortable and had a tiny 3-litre tank, enough for a heat in a race but absolutely insufficient on the road. Mine had a very illegal dell'Orto 22 and you had to be extremely careful not to flood it at the traffic light . I remember it very fondly...
gigiminiotti The Aspes is a bike I have yet to come across on my travels. They are certainly not a bike you even see around at race events especially here in the UK and although they were European bikes they are still seldom seen although be sure if I get the chance I will certainly feature one. Thanks for watching my video’s.
COO Bay Hi Coo Bay With regards your question this bike was on display at the 2020 Telford Classic Dirt Bike Show in the UK in February and as you would expect it was causing a lot of interest at the show and in the fact the bikes owner Terry Pickering was offered £12,000 for the bike by a buyer and as you would expect Terry turned the offer down immediately.
What a BEAUTY ! A fine example of Italian craftsmanship , I'd be proud to own and race the bike.

There’s just no doubt that these bikes have been kept in a climate controlled building it is almost unbelievable but what a beautiful motorcycle
Bikes a stunner

Hi Chris, your doing a wonderful job. The memories come flooding back.
Kindest regards Nick ( Imogen Kent 's dad) .
Sweet!!! How much is this bike worth?
A well kept one could fetch about 4000 (Euros).

Having an Ancillotti Jewel 250 and not taking a ride
