Hello, does the Z40, always show front camera view on the display when you start the car and the camera powers on? In the settings the selected option is rear view? I need to manually go in the settings ( shows rear view), swap to front and rear view again for it to display the rear view on the display.

Yes, the parking monitoring options are better in DDPAI Z40. Don't worry, the hardwiring kit offers an auto cut-off feature when the battery voltage is reached 12.4V, 12V or 11.8V. You can set your preferred voltage cut off in the app or dashcam settings interface.
Thanks for the great video. Out of 70mai and DDPAI, which one can record video wothout hardwire?. (Atleast the events for a minute). I dont want to tamper the fuse box as dealer was very clear that any tampering will void warrenty.

I want to use external power instead of car battery when car is parked. If i simply connect a powerbank..the camera records continuously and no option to go in timelapse..... No, there is no mounting bracket at the rear but you can easily remove it from the windshield and install it back on with additional sticker provided in the box

How can you start an emergency recording without getting into a collision? My old Transcend DP220 has an emergency button. I can't find any in the Z40.

Hi, I was using AKASO V1 dash cam from past 1 year. Exactly after 1 year, it is started giving issues like, keep on restarting. There is no service support in India. After complaining to AKASO USA, luckily I got confirmation mail from Akaso Tech USA for full refund (It is not under warranty. 15 months now). Now I am planning to buy DDPAI Z40 with GPS (front only) dash cam. My question is, if something happens during warranty or after warranty, can we get the good support from Nexdigitron? Why I am asking this because these cameras will work first 1 year flawlessly and after starts giving issues. Appreciate your comment on this. Anyway I am your new subscriber!

N3 is a good budget buy with all connecting features. However, I would personally recommend the Z40, Mini3 or the Mini5 over Mola N3 for better video output, performance and hardware configuration. Regarding the display, it is definitely an optional feature, adds some convenience and ease of handling. However, you can skip it and go ahead with non display options like Mini5 and Mini3. @@PRATHMH Yes, the external TF card offers you a bit more convenience .However, eMMC inbuil storage is more reliable and 10X superfast as compare to a SD card. Mini5 offers 64GB of eMMC flash drive and can hold up to 7 hours of non stop drivig/parking time in 4K UHD and I think that is more than enough to back up your entire week footage assuming you drive around for an hour on a daily basis.

In my country there are no sets of two cameras available, and there are no separate rear cameras, so I will probably choose the MINI5. However, I would personally recommend placement on direct windshield for better stability and glare free footage. Don't worry glue quality is excellent on 70mai and DDPAI mounts so it won't fall down from the windshield. GPS module works on satellite signals so SIM or data connection is not required.

Hi Tejzas, Unfortunately no, remote monitoring support nahi milega Z40 main, in fact 99% of the dashcams available in India do not offer this feature. And 60fps is really not required in dashcam footage. However, if you still want to explore some options you can check Viofo or Thinkware series but i doubt there are options available under 15K. Hope this helps.

Hello, does the Z40, always show front camera view on the display when you start the car and the camera powers on? In the settings the selected option is rear view? I need to manually go in the settings ( shows rear view), swap to front and rear view again for it to display the rear view on the display.

How can you start an emergency recording without getting into a collision?
My old Transcend DP220 has an emergency button. I can't find any in the Z40.

A500S is more stable as compare to N3. Also, Z40 is not compatible with most of the SUVs like Scorpio, Thar, Bolero.

Hi Prathmesh, Yes, you can control the display activity from the app/dashcam interface, there are duration options you can set to turn off the display while driving.
N3 is a good budget buy with all connecting features. However, I would personally recommend the Z40, Mini3 or the Mini5 over Mola N3 for better video output, performance and hardware configuration.
Regarding the display, it is definitely an optional feature, adds some convenience and ease of handling. However, you can skip it and go ahead with non display options like Mini5 and Mini3.

Mini5 offers 64GB of eMMC flash drive and can hold up to 7 hours of non stop drivig/parking time in 4K UHD and I think that is more than enough to back up your entire week footage assuming you drive around for an hour on a daily basis.

In my country there are no sets of two cameras available, and there are no separate rear cameras, so I will probably choose the MINI5. I'm only concerned about the GPS module. 70mai in my car GPS is not working. I checked the A800 and A500 but the Mio 826 GPS camera works fine.

No it doesn't, you can use time lapsed or normal parking mode to capture these kind of incidents

The rear camera takes power supply from the main front unit, hardwiring is not required. If you are looking for standard cable management tips, please refer my other videos on A800, A500S, DDPAI X2S pro or 70mai Mirror dashcam. Hope this helps.

A dual channel set up is anytime better than single channel, the backup camera can be a life saver in case of rear end collision.

Ur videos are excellent. Pl inform. 1.70mai m 500 can be tied to IRVM instead of glueing to windshield. Cams glued to windshield when parked in a hotsun are for long have a tendency to fall apart. Whether separate accessory available for tieing tp IRVM. 2. For GPs module whether simcard is needed. From saisethuraman

Yes, you can install the mount on the IRVM as well, no additional accessory is required. However, I would personally recommend placement on direct windshield for better stability and glare free footage.
Don't worry glue quality is excellent on 70mai and DDPAI mounts so it won't fall down from the windshield.
GPS module works on satellite signals so SIM or data connection is not required.

Hi Tejzas, Unfortunately no, remote monitoring support nahi milega Z40 main, in fact 99% of the dashcams available in India do not offer this feature.
And 60fps is really not required in dashcam footage. However, if you still want to explore some options you can check Viofo or Thinkware series but i doubt there are options available under 15K. Hope this helps.
