Hey, thanks for watching! Today I have an update to Project Level Up created by Sofie Alexandra. Sofie’s original intro video: • Project Level Up - Int... Instagram @_stillsteph_
I can relate I am doing lvl up light (all same, but instead of pan-10 uses) and I rolled P.Louise 50(!) pan palette for lvl. 4. I would say in some point I was really tired of the palette, so I rolled lvl. 5 and took a little break. I do not use also eyeshadows on my nails, soo it took really really long time. I am missing just 11 uses and I am done😅 😊 So my point - take a break and do make up just for fun some days❤
When I feel like I have a LOT of eyeshadows to use, I usually focus on the easiest goal first, focusing my look on that shadow, still using some of the other shades in that look. But that way you can narrow it down a bit. Or maybe have a day or two every week when you use just this palette? :)
One thing I would suggest is to tweak the way you choose the palettes for this project. I’ve Seen some planners pre-select a smaller group of palettes they are happy to pan in a particular project and then randomise from there. For example, a seasonal selection of five or six palettes and then random number generator from there. If you do that, you can make sure you’re USA seasonally appropriate palette and weed out the mega palette s. You could also pre-select options for each level etc. If you are doing so many projects, you need to plan some of it out so you don’t get burnt out and can get usage on as many projects as possible. I really enjoy your content and think you’re doing a great job panning!
Thank you so much for your suggestion and kind words! I think your idea is perfect for me! Especially since I prefer creating looks that are more geared toward what season we are in! It’s perfect, thank you 🫶🏻
For the makeup: Don’t torture yourself. Yes, it’s supposed to be a challenge, but it’s also supposed to be fun! For the setup: Try augmenting your natural light by setting up a ring light in front of the window you prefer. You can adjust the brightness as the days get shorter, and you still get the beautiful clarity of natural light, without having to deal with the fussiness of studio lighting (backfill, dealing with the cast shadows, trying to get the light temperature right or having to juggle multiple lights.) It’s honestly the best of both worlds.
thank you for your thoughts!! I didn't even think about adding my lights to the natural light - I will try that. The benefit of having a designated space in my bedroom is that I wouldn't have to take it down and set it up every time I film. There are pros and cons.
Maybe power through the last uses quickly to free up your eyeshadow use for the rest of the month? Or alternate days. One day use the level up palette and the next day use shadows from another project. You have a lot of palettes in throwback 30. Maybe it would help you feel less overwhelmed if you knocked out a couple, since that project actually shrinks?
I do have a lot in Throwback 30, I was worried about that lol I have set aside some that I am okay to use later in the project so it doesn't intimidate me too much.
A little beauty/filming corner would be so cute! If you’re truly over that palette, just move on. Or if you feel like coming back to it later, save those shades for when you’re feeling inspired to do a look with them! Great job on hitting pan!
It’s a pity cause it is such a pretty palette. Maybe at the higher levels for bigger palettes you could use every shade once and hit your “x” amount of pans for the level?

@@stillsteph That is true! And prep time before a video honestly takes me longer than filming ever does.
@@whybekwhy yes unfortunately!!
You’ve done such a great job with this big palette! You should totally be able to use those grays and finish them with a couple looks.
you are so right - I sat down and planned all the looks I could create and I really only have 4 left!!

Just power through!! You're almost at the finish line!!! 🎉
sooo close!!

thank you for the encouragement! I could do a little candle like all the legit youtubers hahaha aka you!!
@@stillsteph 😂 The candle is always my favorite part
You’re doing great … hang in there ❤

I will consider that modification next time! Thanks for the suggestion.
I feel you. 🩷 I’m so over my level 2 palette 😩 you’ve got great progress, and you’re so close!! 🙏✨😘
Power through!!
