You are so right in the way you describe this brand. They do an amazing job of bridging the divide between mainstream and indie polishes, and they also consistently turn out products that are super high quality at a really good price. I watched a couple of other reviews of this collection, but something about your swatches made me love them extra. Something about the way you film really highlights their beauty and shows them in the best light! Thank you!!
I've been slow to embrace multichromes. There's something sort of...masculine about them? (I don't know what I mean.) But they're really starting to grow on me!
This is one of those collections where if I had unlimited money and shelf space I'd have gotten all of them because they're all so gorgeous! I ended up going for Spectral Feeling and It's Fall Good. After seeing them swatched by you I'm even more excited to get them, it can make such a difference seeing how a polish goes on and looks on video. KBShimmer is one of my favourite brands too, the formulas are almost always easy to work with, lovely brushes, super reasonably priced and with the 15ml bottles you get a very good amount of product. Their quick dry top coat has become my new favourite, especially at that price! (The top and base coats retail for only $6,50!)
god i love this collection. i will probably get "for the pun of it" at some point. also, i love how many "would you rather" type questions you get for fun fact questions. it's like, great thing we don't have to limit ourselves that way!
This is really a stunning, well-rounded collection for fall. My first KB Shimmer Polish was Hidden Potential, which is so magical on the nails. The standout for me is Dead Ringer because it pairs a more neutral base with a nice shifty shimmer, but they’re all very pretty. I guess I’m just a sucker for multichromes and other interesting shades. You mentioned liking jelly polishes. I never thought I’d care much for a sheerer base until I purchased some Bee’s Knees Lacquers, which tend to have a more sheer jelly base which allows all the shimmers to shine through. It really takes the polish to a whole different level.
Daaayyunm this is probably one of their best collections they've ever done 🤩 I'd buy almost all of them, if I had the 💰 I pick cream, cause I never do jelly sandwiches 😀 Most likely due to failing hard when I tried a couple of years ago 😅
I have spectral feeling arriving this week, excited to see it! I'm new to nail polish and have never used a magnet before so stay tuned 😅💅🏻 (I also wanted it's fall good but that was sold out here)
Thanks to your videos I've now just bought 7 of these indie polishes (4 last month), which are more expensive because I'm in the UK. My purse is crying. I'll be abstaining from any more for a while, but at least I can still admire the pretty polishes from afar!
I also want every single one of these and I'm not usually that person. As to the Jelly question definitely jellies because they are more versatile. I do find them boring by themselves some of the time but you can add things to them and blend them and make so many beautiful things.

I just finished swatching the three bottles I received on Saturday, Charmed Life, For the Pun of It and Mull It Over. All are showstoppers, but Charmed Life magnetized is mesmerizing. 💅

Come sip with us reminds me of a Cadillacquer one that you reviewed a while back. I didn’t see it while it was available. Nice to find something near it but different. Gummy a Break seems unique to all the recent Halloween releases. Your description was spot on that it “feels” purple despite having a more blue base. Those flakies are gorgeous. As always, KB Shimmer is great value for 15 ML. Their Smooth Moves topper is necessary with the reflectives.

I think the recent trend of using cobalt and royal blue polishes right now might have stemmed from the idea of the blue sapphire, since it is September’s (and my) birthstone.
As an Aussie I always try to support Aussie stockists but since KBShimmer ship through a forwarding service it takes soooooooo long for the polishes to arrive. Up to three months sometimes. This collection had me cheat on Femme Fatale for the first time ever and purchase through Harlow & Co instead. I should get them in a few days and I can not wait.

Oh thank you so much!! 🥰🥰 I have tried it, it ends up actually looking the same because the new layer of wet polish reactivates the magnetic pigment underneath, so I prefer to just magnetize the top coat as it's quicker with the same result!!

As for jellies vs cremes, that’s tough but I might have to stick with cremes 🥺 This seems to be a body chemistry thing for me but I find jellies chip faster than cremes for some reason 🤷♀️ But I still love jellies tho! I would rather wear jellies over cremes. I don't really like cremes on their own, so when I wear them it's either for a reason, like interviews, or with a topper.
