JOYTOY North Firehammer Assault Mecha

Today we take a look to another old JOYTOY 1/18 mecha design, the North Firehammer.
It is a middleground between exosuits and fully-fledged mechas like the Tyrant 02 or the FEAR 5 that we have seen in the past.
It has an original design, a compact size, and also a nice weathered design. But it is all good? Checkout the review!

As for the legs, maybe super glue or hot glue in the holes and then dremel/drill to fit. Sucks it comes that way especially for the price, but I have embraced my inner toy RX with Joytoy figures

Yeah, JT has improved a lot in the years but those old models are as cool as they are plagued by QC issues! We get used to these, but sometimes there are outliers ... XD

Do you remember the show EXO-Squad? Im getting some serious vibes from this figure. I loved that show and toyline as a kid.

Ah, what did you remember! It appeared for very little time on Italian TV when I was young, never to reappear AFAIK! I completely forgot about it until now and I agree with you (rewatched some videos about exosquad on YT! )

Cool a smaller offering then the standard Mech JOYTOY. Oof just watched the full review I feel like JOYTOY just they best job on Warhammer license stuff but other stuff not so much. The clam shell how they keep everything together works well BUT seeing how they just threw everything in the shell for this release leaves me not sure I want purchase anything JOYTOY release outside of the Warhammer releases.

It is a bit of hit and misses - old releases like these were plagued by QC issues but newest have quite improved (the Tyrant 02 was flawless!). You can only cross fingers, I guess :D

I saw this in display in Lockertoys store in Hong Kong 2 years ago but didn't get it, but it looks to be a decent design with a very nicely sculpted figure.

Hey AC, nice to see you here! Yes, it is a quite old mecha release but I was curious about this peculiar design, quite unique for my shelves!
And I was sure it was going to be my only design until JOYTOY announced a similar mecha for the Battle for the Stars line (White Cavalry): but, at least, AliExpress discounts helped me (a lot!).

Yep, definitely it is a trade off - hopefully the similar unit for Battle for the Stars will have better QC too!
