I can see your point of view, however, those who have been in trouble before might be more trustworthy individuals. In an interview, you should be able to tell if that person is legit or not. Background checks screw over so many candidates who would never harm the company and feel so blessed to actually have found a job. Imagine never being in trouble before- you might somehow think you're untouchable.
Dealing with the very same thing here in GA. I watched the FedEx truck pull up to my home on Monday with my 2 packages containing iPhones from Boost Mobile that my husband and I ordered. The driver sat in the truck for a minute and I'm looking at him from inside wondering why he's not getting out the truck. As soon as I started for the door he took off and immediately updated the packages as delivered. It's just been a nightmare the run around they give me. Finally got the managers of his location in Ellenwood GA involved. That same day they sent their security to my home to take pictures and get a statement. So they caught the driver and his assistant in a lie. Sad part all Boost can do is a shut the phones down and give a refund because the phones are no longer in stock. FedEx is the worst.
@Somaly Hin nope FedEx took a hands-off approach saying there guys are contractors and wasn't hired directly by them. The only thing they could tell me was that they can no longer drive for FedEx and I'm to file a claim with the shipper. The police took over investigation but eventually said I should take the contractor to civil court. So that's basically where it ended for us. Boost refunded us our money for the phones.

As a retired FedEx Express driver of 35 years in the L A. CA. area it disgusts me seeing all the horror stories regarding the thievery of customers packages. It was a big problem at my facility as well. I’ve recently been a victim as well having ordered something from North Carolina it got into FedEx Ground system and disappeared. Never left the state. I can tell you the reason they actually come to the house and then steal the package is because the hand held package scanner or power pad as we call it has GPS and shows the location of the truck at the time of delivery or a red flag goes up with the company. Of course homes with security cameras Ring doorbells are the great equalizer. The company has really gone downhill since the early years when I came on. SHAME.

FedEx falsely marked my 70 lbs package as delivered. However, I was waiting and watching out for delivery. The driver never arrived. I also have a camera which shows no delivery being made at the time of delivery. FedEx sucks!
Something similar happened to me. Someone forged a signature of a name I dont even know and I had to make a claim. I believe the driver stole it because the leasing office said this was the same signature another tenants lost item had. Fedex needs to be held accountable.

Same shit that happened to me with ups. Ripped the top of my box open and got the shoes but left the special bag it came with and then repackaged it and shipped it out. It’s frustrating cause you can’t even get reimbursed because you’re getting the run around over and over.

FedEx did that to me today and all they said was that I have to wait until they investigate and then they will call me. They claimed to have delivered my packages but only one of them got delivered and the second one needed a signature but they marked it as me signing and receiving the package. Which was a lie.
To me they are doing worst than a lie! They leave me hanging when I ask for a manager. And the girls who answer the phone tell me that the package was picked up when it arrived in the US by USPS. In their website I can see that it was picked up by them, and it traveled from Miami all the way to Tampa. They are stating that they do have the package, but that because it was given to them by USPS, and they are supposed to deliver it, that they can’t because it is a PO Box. But in their website the USPS never had it. They were supposed to give it to USPS so that they would do the final delivery. WHAT IS GOING ON IN THIS COUNTRY. WHY IS CORRUPTION SO OUT OF HAND! THIS IS INSANE!
Fedex ALWAYS does this. I have them on camera just passing by my house, then getting a notification stating “we tried to deliver”. Then they send you on this goose chase just trying to get your package. Then they tell me to come pick it up from a warehouse 1 hour away. Like hell no! Im not driving that far to do the job your incompetent drivers couldn’t do. They won’t take you seriously until you chew them out on the phone, threatening a lawsuit. I told them, you better deliver it to an access point near my house, or I speak to a lawyer. This happens every time with them. The annoying part is that they don’t even leave a door tag or anything either. So tired of FailEx
Yea, but the crook is still out there. Yes, use another carrier, but open claims and bring the case to small court without attorney then they will really take it seriously and avoiding contracting stealers to deliver or pick up packages.
hey happened to me yesterday...I had food items from Walmart.com and saw the truck pass my house...then come back on way out and driver flew by and even waved at me. I went inside and got online to check my tracking and it said it was delivered!! I got nothing!

FedEx delivered my steam deck to an address that wasnt even close to mine that would be understandable for making the mistake. The guy was so stupid, he didnt know how to read or input the address in the GPS, sends the $400 package to some house that was far from my street and delivers it. I contacted them everyday, it took a week for them to do anything. It was too late, the house has kids, they opened it and when FedEx went over to to ask for it back, they lied and said they dont have the package. Of course you dont have it, you opened it! The box is gone now! They have it, the brat gets an early xmas gift. FedEx calls me and tells me they cant do anything else, and says they will soon close the case. I got mad and said it was you fault that you lost it. How can the driver deliver an address that wasnt even close to whats on the box? Its on the GPS, its on the package!! Its in your system! WTF! The guy did his training by saying sorry this has been blah blah blah and couldnt wait to hang up on me. He said call law enforcement. So i might just do that. He hangs up on me and usually they have you rate a review but this guy hanged up. FedEx is by far the worst company you can ever pick. This wasnt my choosing either. Steam chose them and i hope they regret using them. Avoid FedEx like you would avoid the plague. Do not use them, use Priority or UPS. So far USPS Priority is the best. No one is perfect but they so far are good. F FedEx. I hate them so much. Every package i have gotten from them from sellers have came in broken.
The recipient needs to address the issue with the person or company where they purchased. The one that shipped the package is the carriers customer, not the recipient. The shipper has the legal responsibility to file the claim with FedEx, UPS, etc., not the the recipient.
This is a chronic systemic issue with FedEx…. and a major national news entity needs to relentlessly hound the CEO of FedEx over these continuing and worsening incidents. No more “we’re sorry for your inconvenience” rubbish from low level munchkins. It’s time to hold the CEO accountable and embarrass him and his so-called delivery service company if there’s any hope of them getting their act together. I’m not holding my breath. 🤷🏻♂️

Sad. Can we please do something about this?Majority of my packages come through that area down to Alabama. FedEx stole a $200 pair of shoes that I’ll never have the opportunity to purchase again. They even told me point blank on the phone - they wouldn’t be delivering it any further due to no contents being in the box. It’s super frustrating, and makes me/us scared to order anything ever again. The worst part being… no one gets caught. How can I take any sort of action to prevent this from continuing to happen?

This happen to me lastweek i tracked my package and it said it was already delivered but then i was at work so i quickly went home maybe it was 30 mins.ago since my package was delivered and when i got home no package.maybe the driver knows that its expensive inside so he just scan it but did not leave my package in front of the door.said thing there is no camera in this building so i really dont know what really happen to my package.
Fedex driver stole it! Im hving same issue but with pkg locker. Never got the code to unlock the locker. Emailed Luxer lockers with tracking #. Fedex either stole my item or stupidly delivered to diff name..then that person kept it!? Now will file claim.
I’m a fedex driver. I like to think I do my job well and efficiently. Sometimes when I return to the terminal, I’ll see drivers with their trucks in the employee parking lot. I often wonder if they’re stealing packages. It looks so sketchy too. Not worth the risk IMO. Hell, I make enough to where I can pretty much afford anything so why bother.

I had ordered a 6 foot Christmas tree. FedEx driver say it was delivered and placed in my mailbox. So, once I finally got a call back from Walmart, I asked how was a 6 foot tree put in a mailbox. I demanded my $140 back. And I got it! I try not to order anything online. It's so frustrating.
I work for fedex as a package handler, packages go through automated system conveyor belts and get tossed down "van lines" to be hand loaded into trucks and scanned to alert customers their package is going out for delivery. The packages get damaged 99% of the time from being slammed around by bigger heavier boxes, a package might come down the belt, and its just opened from falling off and popping open cause theres 1 tiny peice of tape holding it closed. Once its out of the warehouse and onto a truck tho its pretty much gone if it doesnt show up to the delivery address
FED EX has lost several of my packages. Nothing helps. I cannot afford cameras to document these thieves. And the crooks get richer. FED EX and USPS are “cooperating” and profit from these thefts. Those labels do not come off easily. All kinds of excuses. SAVE our USPS! FIRE DeJoy! Everything is WORSE!
A fedex driver wanted me to sign for a new phone package but he didn't have the package with him. He said he gave it to MY friend on another road (no one i knew of course), and if I wanted my phone I had to sign and go get it. I did not sign. A few hours later he came back with an open box and a 10 year old busted up phone. I had already made reports to phone and fedex and I called the police for a police report, because the man had given an address where he said he left the phone. It was obvious from the start what he was doing. Anyone else have a fedex driver try to make you sign without a package present?

becuase they have to prove she had the package in the van, i work for fedex sometimes in my pile of packages for my van i will scan one for a route thats not mine and not realize it, i thne hace to while on road scan it as not delivered, someone else might have scanned it
I came here I never got my package FedX . The driver just passed my house caught it on my security video camera but never made the attempt to drop it front door. The time period is wrong too delivery time was 1:08 pm , but my c video camera shows 1:22 pm . Going file a claim soon so hopefully they don’t hurt buyer and seller it’s just bad ! 😢
All you have to do is call customer service. None of our reps turn anyone who says they didnt receive their package away. This is the easiest issue to resolve do i dont see why multiple reps would act like she is lying and not open the case.

The Phillip Morris company (Marlboro,etc.)lost lots of of money.Their advertisments to rural areas always made it,right,made it to the garbage.Maybe a contractor had a fireplace at home the package would ended up going to. Why would a contractor drive ten miles to a store in a rural area to deliver one package? Fred Smith may guarantee the delivery,but the contractor did not!

I get very frustrated with FedEx, if I see I'm getting a package from FedEx I can guarantee I will not get it the first time it's scheduled. I've had to drive an hour and a half to their location to pick up one of my packages because they just couldn't figure out how to do it. They'll say they made an attempt but they never leave a sticker or they never knock they never come around they just pretend to do it I will not in my area.
I have ordered from a company like finger hut and I ordered it Nov 6th 2020 and it has traveled to 15 states give or take and today being Nov 18th my package was in connecticut since Monday the 16th and today I called fed ex and they did a search and found out it was sent to Puerto Rico that that point today they said it Departed Puerto Rico so they asked me to give it a couple days and I said I would but the guy told me on the phone where it departed from Puerto Rico he has no idea which way it went or where it's going it was supposed to have been delivered last week on the 13th then they said the 16th which was Monday then they said the 17th which was Tuesday and then they said today no package because it's in Puerto Rico and FedEx does not know what they are doing they don't deserve to be operating

Very glad in Canada we don't use this horrible company. We have Canada Post, UPS and others. So when I order on Amazon or else. Since more a decade. Never got a problem. When I watch TH-cam I notice this thing seem to happen a lots in USA. I feel bad for people who lost some many stuffs and money by all this thieves. And I can honestly say packages get ripped open all the time and are re taped at a hub. I work for UPS and sometimes I deliver packages that are ripped and very very close to falling apart. It’s cause of the machines and the way they are handled before being placed into a vehicle

I used to work at a AT&T store. Bunch of iphones were stolen by FedEx employees too. 🤦♂️

That's why I never order anything online, if they don't sell it at my grocery store, Target, Best Buy, or Home Depot I probably don't need it.

Fedex and usps both suck, and they pulled this bs on me today. They dont give a crap about helping customers and need to go out of buisness.

It does, but not likely to be the case. The driver can claim that she went to go grab the package but the package was for another address.
Fedex is definitely the worst postal service in the us followed by USPS and ups
I never got my package I’m out of $300 FedEx say contact the shipper. It was shipped. FedEx say it is lost(stolen) if you asked me.
Just happened to me they lied said my package was delivered but it wasn't there until 2 days later and was opened it was a pair of 80$ addidas i assume the delivery person thought it was a pair of yeezys i need to find a way to get this person caught

FedEx delivered my steam deck to an address that wasnt even close to mine that would be understandable for making the mistake. The guy was so stupid,
he didnt know how to read or input the address in the GPS, sends the $400 package to some house that was far from my street and delivers it. I contacted them everyday,
it took a week for them to do anything. It was too late, the house has kids, they opened it and when FedEx went over to to ask for it back, they lied and said they dont have the package.
Of course you dont have it, you opened it! The box is gone now! They have it, the brat gets an early xmas gift. FedEx calls me and tells me they cant do anything else, and says they will soon close the case.
I got mad and said it was you fault that you lost it. How can the driver deliver an address that wasnt even close to whats on the box? Its on the GPS, its on the package!! Its in your system! WTF!
The guy did his training by saying sorry this has been blah blah blah and couldnt wait to hang up on me. He said call law enforcement. So i might just do that. He hangs up on me and usually they have you rate a review but this guy hanged up. FedEx is by far the worst company you can ever pick. This wasnt my choosing either. Steam chose them and i hope they regret using them.
Avoid FedEx like you would avoid the plague. Do not use them, use Priority or UPS. So far USPS Priority is the best. No one is perfect but they so far are good. F FedEx. I hate them so much. Every package i have gotten from them from sellers have came in broken.
The recipient needs to address the issue with the person or company where they purchased. The one that shipped the package is the carriers customer, not the recipient. The shipper has the legal responsibility to file the claim with FedEx, UPS, etc., not the the recipient.
Going thru this with scuf. FedEx told me they would investigate the driver and that I need to contact scuf.

Sad. Can we please do something about this?Majority of my packages come through that area down to Alabama. FedEx stole a $200 pair of shoes that I’ll never have the opportunity to purchase again. They even told me point blank on the phone - they wouldn’t be delivering it any further due to no contents being in the box. It’s super frustrating, and makes me/us scared to order anything ever again. The worst part being… no one gets caught. How can I take any sort of action to prevent this from continuing to happen?

This happen to me lastweek i tracked my package and it said it was already delivered but then i was at work so i quickly went home maybe it was 30 mins.ago since my package was delivered and when i got home no package.maybe the driver knows that its expensive inside so he just scan it but did not leave my package in front of the door.said thing there is no camera in this building so i really dont know what really happen to my package.

Fedex driver stole it! Im hving same issue but with pkg locker. Never got the code to unlock the locker. Emailed Luxer lockers with tracking #. Fedex either stole my item or stupidly delivered to diff name..then that person kept it!? Now will file claim.
I’m a fedex driver. I like to think I do my job well and efficiently. Sometimes when I return to the terminal, I’ll see drivers with their trucks in the employee parking lot. I often wonder if they’re stealing packages. It looks so sketchy too. Not worth the risk IMO. Hell, I make enough to where I can pretty much afford anything so why bother.

obviously she has to sue them. She can't expect fedex to do self-accountability. If she doesn't sue then they'll stop doing it to her and do it to someone else.

Fedex stole my package
I had ordered a 6 foot Christmas tree. FedEx driver say it was delivered and placed in my mailbox. So, once I finally got a call back from Walmart, I asked how was a 6 foot tree put in a mailbox. I demanded my $140 back. And I got it! I try not to order anything online. It's so frustrating.
The mail says that I delivered the package but it stayed at the post office, I have 7 days waiting for a response
I work for fedex as a package handler, packages go through automated system conveyor belts and get tossed down "van lines" to be hand loaded into trucks and scanned to alert customers their package is going out for delivery. The packages get damaged 99% of the time from being slammed around by bigger heavier boxes, a package might come down the belt, and its just opened from falling off and popping open cause theres 1 tiny peice of tape holding it closed. Once its out of the warehouse and onto a truck tho its pretty much gone if it doesnt show up to the delivery address
Misdelivered to a different address and FedEx went back to the wrong house and picked it up and redelivered it to her the next day
FED EX has lost several of my packages. Nothing helps. I cannot afford cameras to document these thieves. And the crooks get richer.
FED EX and USPS are “cooperating” and profit from these thefts. Those labels do not come off easily. All kinds of excuses.

A fedex driver wanted me to sign for a new phone package but he didn't have the package with him. He said he gave it to MY friend on another road (no one i knew of course), and if I wanted my phone I had to sign and go get it. I did not sign. A few hours later he came back with an open box and a 10 year old busted up phone. I had already made reports to phone and fedex and I called the police for a police report, because the man had given an address where he said he left the phone. It was obvious from the start what he was doing. Anyone else have a fedex driver try to make you sign without a package present?

It's on camera fire the lady on spot give this woman the value of her property why do companies have to make it so hard when doing this would save them alot of time and actually money they don't want to pay yet don't realize overtime draging it out usually makes it so they have to spend more money
becuase they have to prove she had the package in the van, i work for fedex sometimes in my pile of packages for my van i will scan one for a route thats not mine and not realize it, i thne hace to while on road scan it as not delivered, someone else might have scanned it
I came here I never got my package FedX . The driver just passed my house caught it on my security video camera but never made the attempt to drop it front door. The time period is wrong too delivery time was 1:08 pm , but my c video camera shows 1:22 pm . Going file a claim soon so hopefully they don’t hurt buyer and seller it’s just bad ! 😢
All you have to do is call customer service. None of our reps turn anyone who says they didnt receive their package away. This is the easiest issue to resolve do i dont see why multiple reps would act like she is lying and not open the case.

The Phillip Morris company (Marlboro,etc.)lost lots of of money.Their advertisments to rural areas always made it,right,made it to the garbage.Maybe a contractor had a fireplace at home the package would ended up going to. Why would a contractor drive ten miles to a store in a rural area to deliver one package? Fred Smith may guarantee the delivery,but the contractor did not!
FedEx don't care. Time to upgrade to UPS or USPS. Or Amazon.

I get very frustrated with FedEx, if I see I'm getting a package from FedEx I can guarantee I will not get it the first time it's scheduled. I've had to drive an hour and a half to their location to pick up one of my packages because they just couldn't figure out how to do it. They'll say they made an attempt but they never leave a sticker or they never knock they never come around they just pretend to do it I will not in my area.

I have ordered from a company like finger hut and I ordered it Nov 6th 2020 and it has traveled to 15 states give or take and today being Nov 18th my package was in connecticut since Monday the 16th and today I called fed ex and they did a search and found out it was sent to Puerto Rico that that point today they said it Departed Puerto Rico so they asked me to give it a couple days and I said I would but the guy told me on the phone where it departed from Puerto Rico he has no idea which way it went or where it's going it was supposed to have been delivered last week on the 13th then they said the 16th which was Monday then they said the 17th which was Tuesday and then they said today no package because it's in Puerto Rico and FedEx does not know what they are doing they don't deserve to be operating

Fedex falsely marked my package as delivered too! Eventually I got a refund, but not from Fedex, but instead the shipping company I had bought the items from. If you ask me, Fedex drivers stealing packages they like is very common!

Very glad in Canada we don't use this horrible company. We have Canada Post, UPS and others. So when I order on Amazon or else. Since more a decade. Never got a problem. When I watch TH-cam I notice this thing seem to happen a lots in USA. I feel bad for people who lost some many stuffs and money by all this thieves. And I can honestly say packages get ripped open all the time and are re taped at a hub. I work for UPS and sometimes I deliver packages that are ripped and very very close to falling apart. It’s cause of the machines and the way they are handled before being placed into a vehicle
