- Welcome back to more Scrap Mechanic Workshop! Today Scrapman and I are looking for traps in preparation for survival! Farmbots are going to be a real problem so hopefully some of these traps can stop them in their tracks!

I liked the classic bear trap, but that clyk one that grabbed with tracking then exploded was cool. To make it work for survival probably just spud gun instead of explosion. Or launch them into a wormhole or something
There Are 2 Ways To Get Out Of That Death Trap While It's Welded, The First Way Out Being The One Shown In The Video, The 2nd Being To Disconnect Some Of The Connections.
If I were to make a trap for the farm bots, I would have a fairly large one. It would be a pitfall. Normally it would be a flat area, that everyone has to cross to get to the base, like a moat. But there would be a lot of sensors on it. For a player to cross, there is a switch on both sides to turn off pitfall mode. But when it is activated, the floor opens up, making a long pit around the base. Inside the pit, it is all metal, and once the pit is activated, a small timer (a few seconds) starts. Once the timer ends, or activates a lot of spud guns. There is also a way down into the pit from the base. In case the bots are still alive, or in case they drop stuff you can collect.
I kinda want to see if hooking up a sensor to a giant golf club right in front of your base would just punt bots off into space or instantly wreck them either way win win.

the lift is a saver, I hope that one cannot use it or remote any item on construction that are not yours or your clan, etc..otherwise would be boring to do traps or stuff like that, anyone could get out with the lift xD
