Wasn't that a theory already, because reattaching your limbs with just goop juice isn't really a normal thing and there was also a note that stated that the molds has regenerative abilities. I just believe that they didn't predicted it, they probably believed that he is a mold based from those two things and went with that.
Fun fact & weird flex: RE7 was one if the only games I had. As a result, I’d play it all the time. Almost religiously for about 3 years. My sister also played it very often so we eventually memorized the script. We will often get drunk and recite it. Fun times.

Fun fact: there is a way to survive the fire in the party video, once you set off the fire immediately go to the exit with the hose (I believe there’s a hose I haven’t played the game in a while) but there’s nothing to do when you get here, at least you can show your friends how to perform this trick
