Nice man glad to hear it, I think that's why this game is so good, it's not completely over the top with overwhelming effects and the basic design let's you do mini marvel combos

I find converting hits into backflip into whatever I want incredibly satisfying. When I pick different characters (minus Shiva at times), I almost feel like im playing a different game. Would love to see some for other characters like Axel and Adam (I use Blaze but there's so many Blaze videos out there already). @@TheMightyBill it’s still incredibly obvious how skilled you are dude. These types of games where you need to keep a combo going (Devil May Cry) for example too, are not my bread and butter. I think I’m a very good gamer but when I see stuff like this it’s really impressive. You also really helped me - I didn’t realize how often you should be using the defensive triangle (on PlayStation) move. Totally changed everything now. I need to beat the game on Arcade mode on Hard, and I’m much more confident in doing that now
Looks easier than it is, I have trouble learning the backflips with the right timing and too often Cherry changes the direction but the guide is really good and helpful. I guess I need to train my muscle memory a bit more.
Fantastic guide - thank you so much! I've been practicing head loops for a long time, but I can only ever do 9 reps on Diva, 5 on Commissioner, 1 on Estel etc. Have varied speed, but it makes no difference. I must be doing something wrong & will keep on trying ;-)
Think I solved it -- you have to get the initial down kick in (as opposed to just jumping straight on their head) and then you are allowed more head loops. Cheers Bill!
are you opening with pogo? (down attack in the air so you land on the head and dont have to climb up to their head from a normal grab which uses more time up on their tech timer) forgot to mention this in the guide >
@@TheMightyBill Hi Bill - thanks for your help. I've just mainly been jumping straight on their head (not usually from a grab), then doing 3 head punches and then repeating the head loop. I'm now trying opening with pogo and it definitely seems to extend the reps I can do (although quite tricky to do consistently!). Love to watch your vids - you make it look effortless ;-)

Great guide thanks a lot ! Was about to pick her up coming back to the game after a few months break. Learned a lot ! Been trying those loops can do most of them 2 things are giving me trouble though: -the pickup after the air spike (~10:45) to start loops, I always end up in front no matter how early I try to steer right -OTG air special to reset flip loops, I can’t manage to tun back and hit in time. I Can do it after star super but it seems harder after air special. Air special definitely more common scenario though, so I’d like to be able to use it 😆 Any tips on those ? 😅
Thanks Chibitox! Are you holding right instantly when you jump AND are you holding after the punch hits? you can see I hold it after the hit a little bit too. Air guitar into backflips are difficult at first, all I can advise is to remember its air special,jump,turn, let go of turn,attack. Good luck !
Ok so I was doing it wrong for the relaunch after air guitar. I was trying turn -> jump -> attack. Gonna try again with your advice thanks for answering 😉

Hi Bill. Firstly this guide is incredible. It's cause of your speedruns I now favour Cheery. I'm still really struggling with the head loop. With method 1. After you grab, x3 jabs. Are you literally tapping jump and then direction super quickly ? And with the direction, is it a tap or a hold. I've managed to do the loop twice but even then it feels like a fluke.
Hi Danny, thank you! Tap jump yes, hold direction quickly afterwards , if you only tap direction she wont land back on their head , 10:10 shows what happens if you dont hold direction early+long enough.
Yes that move is stupid , especially that skate 3 can cancel his. Max also has the problem when you try to jab an enemy but get a grab and then stunlock yourself with his grab slap combo, cant be canceled, just need to take damage :\
Does 4:45 still work? The opponent drops after the second backflip. I'm having troubles keeping the enemies bouncing on near the corner. The timing feels delayed, sometimes cherry turns before attacking even when using attack before move.
next to corner backflip has to be hit even slower to avoid wall bounce ( they bounce if done too fast because they're high up when hit) If the opponent is just dropping and the back flip is missing you're doing the back flip too slow. The timing of these backflips were not changed between V7 + V8 (this guides patch + the current version)
I have seen videos of cherry but i can not find the flooring move that cherry does, she sometimes holds the guitar and run forward and ther is one he sweeps the floor from left to right without using a star, can any one tell me😢

I play on an arcade stick , I used the pad display because it's what most people play on. As for optimal jump binding for cherry on pad? No idea
