The 1st round was very cagey, but Kelyn landed cleaner more times than Nurbek, how is that 4-1 in his favor? Smh I’m noticing Cassidy often fences and paws with the lead hand, but doesn’t capitalize on the exploits it’s allowing. He also throws with such poor technique, he makes himself easy to miss. No way Kelyn won round 3 quite clearly LOOK at the bloody Oralbay man! Egad.
Yeah, the first round was pretty even for me and no real complaints either way - I’d personally lean Cassidy who landed a couple of more eye-catching counters. The Irishman did well here. He’s legitimately turned into one of the best at 80kg and will be a real handful for a lot of opponents - I hope he gets a good draw in Thailand and doesn’t run into Alfiorau.
