Na but he’s good at what he does, more of a psychedelic/chilled rapper than a hard spitter,he’s one of the biggest artists to come from high focus records though
he was part of a collective called contact play back in the day. he's also a part of Dead Players. He's one of the best wordsmiths out there imo, lots of mad metaphors. Very Underrated. Try Jam Baxter - For a Limited Time Only, or even Dead Players - Ever
I thought I'd have go more love when I suggested this. I agree man he's one of a kind. Everything be touches is fire. Hope your keeping safe bro hf for life 👊👊🔥
God Tier MC. Jam Baxter is UK Hip Hop. Totally different to the UK trap & grime artists you have been reacting to. The UK is ridiculously versatile when it comes to urban music. Nice reaction.
I don’t think he has done any tracks with any us artists but he’s part of a group called dead players which is ghost town dabbla and jam Baxter they are 🔥
Liam Hf Yeah that’s a funky tune to be fair it’s a little different and weird though ‘Gawtbass’ by dabbla and Ghost town is an absolute banger in my opinion
International Ferg depends on opinion, in my opinion he hits different, but to someone else, they might prefer a different artist who’s lyrics mean more to them bro
Malt Geezer I wholeheartedly agree. His back catalogue is insane. No one I’ve ever heard is on his level of writing. I’m still deciphering stuff from the gruesome features haha
International Ferg take an hour or so out of your day and just sit and listen to the full thing. It’s outstanding 🙌🏻 the track “eulogy” is phenomenal. “Breakfast” and “wings cost extra” are too. Like I say the whole album is the best body of work in hip hop. Chemo is and incredible producer and him and jam just gel perfectly
Baxter fanatic here. He's from north london/ brighton. I been listening to rap for 25 yrs and he's the best lyricist I know of. Lyrics wise the nearest US rapper I know that's similar is Aesop Rock, loads of surrealist imagery and metaphors inspired by hallucinogens and not fitting in with society. The more you listen the more his stuff makes sense and his back catalogue is gold. If you watch Rick & Morty, Baxter is kinda like Rick but with drugs instead of a portal gun
Bro I’m properly into my hip hop over here I just hate the way it’s perceived as that grime / pop scene. I’ve been lookin into this shit for 2 years now and there’s so much fire over here
Jam Baxter is my favourite for sure. I don’t think he has as many views as most people because his style is darker. I mean he uses dark lyrics to describe everyday things haha but I love it!
In terms of originality and lyricism Baxter is the best in the UK or at least he was when I used to listened to it (Haven't been paying much attention in the past 5 or so years).
Nah but he collaborated with some peeps from japan. it's called 'The Stump'. It's epic. EDIT: and very different to this video in tone. Similarly it's good.
Ain't heard of him. Based on one track I like him, he's different. Defo not in the top 3 conversation though. Wretch the nicest. Check out Wretch 32 - FITB3 - FITB5 - Antwi - Mummy's Boy
Is he top 3 spitters in the UK?
International Ferg no way no One know who he even is lol
Na but he’s good at what he does, more of a psychedelic/chilled rapper than a hard spitter,he’s one of the biggest artists to come from high focus records though
Damn that’s crazy
Ok I got you

Jam baxter is the best lyricist I’ve heard in my 30 years on this planet
I thought I'd have go more love when I suggested this. I agree man he's one of a kind. Everything be touches is fire. Hope your keeping safe bro hf for life 👊👊🔥
He's from North London. In my opinion he's the best lyricist in the world. No question. Hallucinogenic imagery.
True words 👏
Jam Baxter for a limited time only - unreal track

Liam Hf Drenching and call us now are my favourite dead players tracks 🔥
Kevin Twine I’d agree man. The track yeah is a beast as well if u can get over the weird Hungarian style beat or whatever the sample is 😂
Liam Hf Yeah that’s a funky tune to be fair it’s a little different and weird though
‘Gawtbass’ by dabbla and Ghost town is an absolute banger in my opinion
Probably the best lyricist ever. His songs are like in depth novels with hidden meanings.
