Update: having done more literature searches and research over my university career - I would now recommend you manage your references using a reference manager software like zotero, rather than manually generating them with the method i recommended in this video!
Is cite this for me no longer free because after the 1st reference I generated it’s asks me to subscribe to change the referencing style to Vancouver 😭😭. My EPQ is due on Friday as well 😭
Thanks! I am just a little confused because the format of the website has changed, probably because it’s two years later😭 and I can’t find the number I’m supposed to paste on my source.
Oh right I didn't realise! I've actually now switched my referencing mover to zotero which is a free reference manager software. Might be worth a try as you can keep track of much more references at once with it compared to the method I suggested in this video!
I want to be a virologist(research and eventually consultancy), would you suggest doing a medicine degree or biochem, taking into account the difficulties of getting into both, thankyou.
Hi unfortunately I'm not really sure what career pathways for virology is like. However, if you are 100% sure you want to do virology research rather than any clinical medicine, doing biochemistry might be a quicker route into the lab for postgraduate studies. However, it's probably best you ask a careers advisor or try emailing a few virologists who might give more relevant advice

When working with websites as resources for citethisforme , if (no date) or the like shows up , should I leave it there?
If you know the date you can change it manually

Could you summarise how to reference using the Oxford style? Especially with websites, I’m not sure how to get the website and issue number.
Hi Raheema, unfortunately I'm not too familiar with the oxford referencing style, but I'm sure citethisforme will help you get the right format
wooooww thanxxx alot ♥
You're welcome! There is another video on academic referencing coming out soon...
