    This is, without a doubt, one of the best sports interviews I've ever seen. I was already a huge Shane Beamer and Gamecock fan, but I felt at the end of this session that I'd really gotten to know a lot more about him in every way Adam Breneman is an amazingly skillful interviewer.

    What a stud coach!! I’m so happy he’s our coach. It will take time but I believe he is the coach that can win a championship at South Carolina.

    The Sooner Nation loves Shane 👏🏼☝🏼on a personal note, I was stationed in SC for awhile and really enjoyed my time there so I’m rooting for Shane and the Gamecocks to succeed.
    It’s going to be interesting when OU moves to the SEC and playing against OUr former coaches such as Beamer and Huepel.

    As a Clemson fan I think SC hit a homerun hiring Coach Beamer. Good to see a genuine honest man coach for them. Except for the last saturday in November lol.

    I will never in my life understand how someone can not like this man. He seems much more down to earth than most head coaches and he’s the only one I see consistently giving attention to these younger reporters and podcast hosts.

      He told you why, he likes seeing young people succeed. Also, it keeps him young which I kind of get. Beamer is that dude.

    I'm a lifelong Vol fan and even as one I have to say he's done a great job at SC. I had a ton of respect for his dad and his style of football. Just know that this year on rocky top we owe you one

    Coach Beamer talks with the media a lot and yet you managed to find many things that we didn't know. That's awesome. Can tell coach Beamer has respect for Adam and what he's doing.

    Great interview. Shane always does a great job providing his best during interactions with the press. Not only, “a good guy” like some other failed coaches, but Shane is a good man and a quality coach to whom players respond. He’s a great fit for the Gamecock football. 🍀

    Beamer definitely feels like OUR GUY at South Carolina. My brother in-law keeps telling me Beamer is just working his way up until Oklahoma or someone bigger offers him a job and then he'll leave.

      You can never say never because there's no predicting what would happen with a new AD or some other unforseen situation at USC, but barring something crazy I fully expect Shane Beamer to stay put at Carolina for as long as he possibly can. I would love to see him here for the next 25 years unless the wheeels just fall off. South Carolina has never had any longterm stability at head coach really across any of their programs since probably Frank McGuire in basketball.

    • @vagabond197979
      @vagabond197979 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@GodLovesComics I'm hopeful for that as well. I'd love for him to leave a legacy at our program like his dad left at Virginia Tech. However, I'm not sure how likely that is with the college football coaching environment being what it is.

    • @GodLovesComics
      @GodLovesComics ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@vagabond197979 It's a tumultuous environment to be sure. Hell there were some morons actually saying "Fire Beamer!" when Carolina started 1-2 last season. But given his rapport with players, his focus on team culture, and his adaptability, I would say Beamer is one of the best-equipped coaches to stay in place for the long haul.

    i remember 2 years ago suggesting that Shane was onto something. I only meant that his personality was such that...he has that antecedent goodwill about him. You want to believe in him, to cheer him on.
    I'm a Dawg fan but this is the easiest guy to root for in college football, even easier than Kirby Smart. Go Dawgs. 🏈🏈🏈🏈

    During the Robert Quinn/aj green talk I couldn't help but think of Carlos Dunlap who played with Quinn. Also still don't know how those fort teams never achieved more than like 8-4 when they had those 2 and the db who played in the NFL as well (can't remember his name but i wanna say something Williams)

    Shane you have to pick better QB’s in the portal. Spencer is average at best, he got the recognition because the football play where he came from is not that good. If he would have been playing in south Florida he would have never seen the field in high school.

      South Carolina has one of the most stacked qb rooms in the country with rattler, Joyner, Doty, sellers, and Bailey. Rattler is a great qb you must not have watched the Tennessee and Clemson games.
