I didn’t know about the Zara situation but good info to have. I still don’t shop at H&M after that little black boy “monkey” situation like 10 years ago. But I think because of convenience people forgot about that because everybody shops there again now 🤷🏾♀️

we don't support and shop at stores that disrespect black people and don't value black people. we as black people support other race's more than they support us from fashion to beauty to food, the list is long, we need to pour more love and money into our own community and grow as a race. I want to find more black owned brands and focus on shopping more with them this up and coming new year personally

I too am torn about Zara! I hadn't heard about this incident at all, wild! Yes to the undergarment video I am on the hunt for a few new good quality undergarments. I'm excited to wear mini skirts and dresses this summer a style that in the past I stayed away from because I'm not to crazy about my legs but I decided that this summer is gonna get whatever body and legs I have right now!
I’m a bigger girl but I fit Zara clothing. They still cater to a modelesque aesthetic and I agree that the way they show the clothes online is a bit goofy…lots of posing where you can’t see the actual clothes!!! I’m not sure if boycotting is the move if the issues aren’t systemic. Sometimes these things can be attributed to a few stupid, inexperienced or clueless people. I would need to know more about what the actual issues are and if they’re widespread 🤷🏽♀️ Yes to a foundations video. Interested in how to support tatas in some of today’s styles 👀😂
I heard about the photographer at Zara and the comment that was made. I had the app on my phone and I took the app off and I DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ZARA. YES BOYCOTT WE HAVE TO BECAUSE WE ARE THE BIGGEST CONSUMERS.
I’m unsure about the Zara situation. It’s crazy because you want to believe that the brand addressed it. We don’t know if the photographer was addressed or if he still works with them. Company’s act so passive. They may have had a contract with him and finished it out and never resigned. Who knows. Definitely, something to think about. I would not mind an undergarments video.
