Bitternut Hickory and the Gransfors Bruk American felling axe.

Bitternut Hickory is named for the way the nuts taste. It’s great firewood.
The American Felling Axe makes a fine splitter but I don’t use it for that very often. Explanation provided.

Very nice. I started splitting wood with a splitting maul. The first nice new one I purchased was from Prandi. I have the helko werk German design maul. I don’t usually split with it much anymore but when I do it is an absolute pleasure to swing. It hits hard and I have not had it bounce like other mauls I have used in the past. Thank you for this video.
