I like the look of it, it's just that it is heavy one for a sandals. (My feet is very narrow) and easily gets tired when I use heavy footwear.. But it looks really nice. Look like, you'll use it for a long time, by the look of it. It looks lovely on your feet too.

Thanks for your review. I've worn docs for 40 years and I find the sandal sizing all over the place. I can wear 2 sizes down in the sandals. Also, the straps of the Clarissa aren't uniform. Some fit tighter across the foot than the other in the same pain of sandals. I love the look but I stuck moleskin on the inside of the straps. Shoes are meant to be worn. Looking cute isn't a substitution for a good fit. I want to be able to walk miles a day. I was super super disappointed in these.

I'm so glad I opted out on buying the more expensive aunt sally leather sandal, from the website the patent leather seemed painful to me. Can't wait until they arrive!

Hey babe, I have narrow feet and usually wear US 7.5 - 8, I got these in a UK 5, which is equivalent to size US 7. These are medium width and they fit a bit loose on my feet. I felt that I could have gone for a size UK 4 and it'll still fit. Hope this helps!!

Did you get used to it? It feels like lifting a weight by every step😛 I'm wondering whether they'll be comfortable when walking for a longer time. Thank you very much! Andrea
Hi Andrea, I agree that the shoes are quite weighty. At first I felt like I would not get used to it but after the insole molded to my feet, it felt alot better. Whenever I wear them, it feels like I'm exercising my legs😜 I've not worn them to walk on long trips but I imagine it might be a bit tiring after a while🏋️🏋️ though the foot bed would still be comfortable!!

I'm a US 6 to 6.5, and in these sandals (ordered from Amazon), US 6, UK4 fits perfectly - just enough room past my toes. 😁

I'm here just 4yrs later you made this video lol😂...I am usually size 6us with narrow feet, I ordered clarissa 2 pebble leather uk3 and fit fine just a bit too snag maybe at the back, now im wondering If 🤔 this could be a sign that I will ended up with blisters at the back of the foot

I've found that Dr Martens run a bit larger. I am usually a 7.5 - 8 US women in shoes and I've bought these in size 5UK, which is equivalent to size 7US. They are a bit big for my feet...length wise and width wise as well. I could've gone down to size 4UK and felt like that will still fit me. Hope this helps!!

Hi babe, so sorry for the late reply. I am usually a size 7US. I opted to get the size 5UK which is equivalent to a size 7US. I have a narrower feet so I felt like these were still a bit big on me and I probably could get away with getting a size 4UK.
In regards to the noise, I did hear squeaky noises when I was walking at the beginning but it got better and I don't notice it anymore. It depends on the type of floors you are walking on too, if you are walking on cement than you won't notice the noise. Hope this helps!!

You said that they're are comfortable but at the same time heavy, does it bother the weight of the sandals when you walk?
Hey babe, so the outsole of the shoes is what makes the shoes so heavy. But contrast to the weight, the midsole is super comfortable. It’s a bit hard to explain, when I walk I feel the comfort of the midsole but also the weight of the shoes as I lift to make a step. I’ve gotten used to the weight now and it doesn’t bother me anymore. Hope this helps!!
Just ordered a pair online!! Super excited but a bit worried since I ordered my usual size (6 us) (4 uk) but my feet are kinda wide so maybe it’s ok? Did i make a bad decision by not sizing down? 🙈 (ordered before watching reviews 😔)
Hey Crish, these do run a bit big but then again I have narrow feet. I believe they will fit you width wise but might be a tad bit long length wise. No worries, you can always return them for a different size if it doesn't work out. Good luck😘

Hello! I’m a size 6.5 in shoes & a size 5 in doc marten boots. I recently got the Voss Hydro leather sandals in a size 6 & they fit perfectly. I’m thinking of getting these sandals but should I get a size 5 or 6?
I’m a true 6.5 (uk size) and had to size down to a 6. They’re still slightly loose but a 5 is too small, so going to try them with a (black) insole
I wear a size 8 in the Jadon but a 7 in the molly crackle boots. Both platform. Should I get a size 7? Or a 8? When I tried the Blair’s ones the 7 fit perfect. I prefer the clarissas they’re sooo cute. 😫

Hi, do these sandals making a “farting” noise when you step? I’m considering these but I HATE when sandals make that noise.
Unfortunately these sandals do make those weird farting noises as well. However, it’s only once in a while for me, not with every step.

Hi Victoria, now that I've worn the size 7 for a while, I've noticed that it's a bit loose on my feet. It's loose at the ankle and a bit big for my feet in general. If I were to go back, I'd get a size 6 US or 4 UK. Hope this helps!!!

Hey madison, I haven't tried on the DM Blaire style yet so I can't speak much about them. The platform on the Blaire does look a bit higher than the Clarissa's. The straps on the Blaire are thinner than the Clarissa. But I like the enclosed heel of the Clarissa's better than the open back of the Blaire's. These are subtle differences that I've noticed in both. Through other reviews of the Vegan Blaire, it seems like that shoe is lighter in weight than the Clarissa, which could be a winning point over the Clarissa. Hope this helps ❤️❤️
