I have seen other videos that show the lines drawn inside the sahpe from top left to the bottom moving left to right. Are both horizontal and vertical acceptable?
Thanks for your observation. You are free to use horizontal lines, vertical lines, parallel straight lines or diagonal, down ward and left to right strokes and so forth when filling in the shapes.
Hi, though both exercises are introduced to children from three years onwards they should be presented at different times. The leaf puzzle is a Botany exercise while The Metal Insets for design is a Language activity, though some of their objectives are similar.
A well done video; demonstrative as usual, good job!
Thank you so much for your feedback 😊
Where did you get the tray and the flat surface please
The tray was a gift from a friend and the flat surface from the Montessori link l earlier shared with you.

Is it acceptable to use metal inserts at tge same time as the leaf chest?
