1978 Corvette L48 Exhaust compare Stock vs Magnaflow cat back part 16710

Replaced my worn out stock exhaust on my 1978 Corvette with the Magnaflow cat back system, part number 16710. Not a dramatic sound difference but looks fantastic. As it warms up it sounds much better than at cold start.

@joshup1275 you're right it's not dramatic. It def has a lower and deeper sound as it rolls. @danielkohler3458 is right, it sounds better after being on for a few years. I haven't done any significant performance upgrades to this Corvette so it's really more of a cruiser (my others are more substantial, louder and faster haha) and it works well for that and gives it an appropriate sound I think. Anyway, hope the video helps! I know I do a lot of searching on youTube for exhaust demos!

It has a very subtle hum at idle, which I'm sure is more noticeable in person.
I'd be more interested in the fit and finish of the product. How does in rank in those categories?

Ya, not dramatic but it sounds good and I bet now they sound really good after 3 years of use.
