Most welcome reminder for all of us. Reaffirmation of the rightly divided Gospel of Salvation of the body (church) of Christ and how it redeems by FAITH and not actions/works. YET gives greater rewards in heaven for good works/actions done! Reminder that God/Christ knows ALL our actions both before and after belief in him. SO that one belief point in our life...WIPES our sins both before and after our faith in him and HIS WORK saves us...the GIFT. AMEN. David Thank You!!
YOU ARE NOT iSRAEL LONG VERSION, WHEN YOU GET SOME ONE WHO REPLY A FEW TIMES THINK THEY ARE THE kINGDOM gOSPEL BORN AGAIN PEOPLE Israel is God's first born son. Egypt is Israel's mother. The exodus was the birth of the nation of Israel. When invited into Egypt by Joseph, the house of Jacob was a family of only 70 people. All the souls of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt, were threescore and ten. - Gen. 46:27 KJ And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already. - Ex. 1:5 KJ Their entrance into Egypt was the nation of Israel's conception. A 400 year gestation period of growth inside of Egypt followed. And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; - Gen. 15:13 KJ And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them. - Ex. 1:7 KJ After the 400 years of gestation, the nation of Israel was born out of Egypt as God's firstborn son. Mother Egypt felt the labor pains. And thou (Moses) shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn. - Ex. 4:22-23 KJ And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt; ... and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead. - Ex. 12:29-30 KJ The ten plagues of the exodus were mother Egypt's birth pangs and labor contractions which forced the child out of her. And a nation was born out of a nation by the hand of God. Hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? - Deut. 4:34 KJ So Joseph was in charge of Israel's conception by bringing in his family of 70 people and Moses laid charge to the delivery by exiting hundreds of thousands if not millions - as only the men were counted. And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. - Ex. 12:37 KJ Not just a small family any longer, a nation! The newly born nation of Israel then received a covenant of promise from their Father at Mount Sinai within the boundaries of the law. But with time Israel could not continually keep the law, which in turn broke the covenant with God. They even rejected their promised Kingdom by crucifying Christ and stoning Stephen filled with the Holy Ghost. They became lost to their Father as the story of the prodigal son displays. God will bring his firstborn son back to himself. But only after Israel is humbled. In his mercy and long-suffering, God has has granted to give Israel a new beginning after a new birth at Christ's return to Jerusalem with a new covenant following punishment, humbling and judgement called the time of Jacob's trouble. Regeneration is another way of saying made anew, re-born or born again. Jesus gave his disciples this information. And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. - Matt. 19:28 KJ Long in advance, a new covenant was prophesied for Israel. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. - Jer. 31:31-33 KJ Rebirth is resurrection from the dead. Jesus is the pattern for Israel. Paul (the pattern for the body of Christ) confirmed this about his resurrection. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. - Col. 1:18 KJ John stated the same with slightly different verbiage. Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. - Rev. 1:5 KJ Israel's rebirth via resurrection from the dead was given to Ezekiel to see in a vision. The vision of the valley of dry bones. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: - Ez. 37:4-5 KJ Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: ... Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD. - Ez. 37:11-14 KJ A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. - Ez. 36:26-28 KJ Only after the whole house of Israel is born from the dead will they receive a new covenant and inherit their promised kingdom on earth that Jesus preached to them as gospel, which they rejected.
Thank you for your words, this is perfect timing. I don’t feel like I would ever question or stop believing in the gospel, but what I heard is exactly what I needed to hear! Amen and thank you again. Btw I enjoyed your joke it was cute.
David, this is an excellent message. Thank you. I have a question for you. Do you think it is truly possible for someone who denies right division to be saved. So many of my “Christian” friends who are very Pentecostal believe the gospel but they deny Paul and they are putting themselves still under the law. They truly think they are saved. They are very zealous and sincere but think that I am totally wrong to rightly divide and see Paul’s distinct message. I have trouble believing that they can truly be saved because they are adding works. What do you think?
It is possible for people to be saved and deny right division. Paul frequently speaks of the ignorant brethren who have dispensational confusion but are saved. One cannot be saved by believing in a false gospel, but people frequently believe the gospel of grace while being confused about many things. Truth be told, every saint is a mess of confusion. Some are just more confused than others.
@@ColumbusBibleChurch thank you for the good explanation! I enjoy your messages that deal with so many issues / questions. Keep on sharing! Grace and peace!
@@ColumbusBibleChurch you are very welcome. I learned right division in 1984 and have heard many of your message over the years and have been very blessed by them. Not to add to my previous question, but what about all my Catholic relatives who BELIEVE 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 but don’t believe Ephesians 2:8-9. They believe that Christ died, was buried, and was resurrected on the third day because the Catholic Church teaches that, but even upon believing they still think they have to do works to assure their salvation. They aren’t TRUSTING the gospel ONlY, and still think they have to be water baptized, receive the sacraments, go to confession, observe certain days, etc, etc, that all adds to their belief? Would you say, they are believing a false gospel? Or is Paul addressing those types of people like he does the Galatians? My concern for my Catholic friends is that when I ask them if do they think they are going to Heaven, they always say I hope and do not have that blessed assurance. They truly think they need to continue to work for their salvation and never truly know if they are good enough, even when I explain to them Ephesians 2:8-9. It’s hard for me to believe that they can truly be saved. Thoughts?

Thanks for clearing my understanding. Is it true that every one believes wrongly, preaches traditionally, even nominal Christians are Saved ? How it possible ?
It is not the case that everyone believing a false gospel is saved. What is true during the dispensation of grace is that anyone who believes the gospel and gets saved is eternally secure. If they afterwards change their mind and believe and preach a false gospel, it may affect their reward, but it does not affect their salvation because their salvation was settled the moment they first believed.
Thanks for this message David. I thank God for you, men like you who teach the scriptures rightly divided. 1 Co 15:1-4 Which witch is witch. That is a dad joke.
This might be a sensitive question for some, but it should have a biblical answer through the bible: "what happened if a believer takes his own life?" I believe what Romans 12:1 says, as a *living sacrifice* not as a _dead sacrifice._ Hopefully you have a complete answer over this. Thanks in advance, God bless.
You can never lose your salvation. So the answer IMO based on that is if a person is a believer aka "saved", nothing they will do will cause them to lose their salvation. I personally believe that God would show mercy on anyone desperate enough to end their life. (a believer that is). I also believe that the mentally handicapped are saved when they die. They would be considered as children under age of accountability. Not sure if David would agree with that.
So if a person believes on Monday but On Tuesday decides to be a serial child molester did he really believe? Can someone be a Christian and rape a woman every week for the rest of his life and still go to heaven? Would not his fruit demonstrate that he had a false faith?
Thank you brother David for the time you spend in sharing your messages.
