After reading some of these Comments, I think you need to give the guy a break. I enjoyed his stories & I respect the level of effort & sacrifice he put into each capture. Fair play to him
You would think that people are forced to watch or listen. If you don’t like the content or get inspired by people talking about their passion, desire and lengths they go to, then don’t listen.
Listening to this podcast and enjoying but massively disappointed to hear him say he left the fish in the net hooked, and went back to bed. No excuse being tired takes literally a minute to unhook should respect the fish better Dan mate regardless of size.
I thought “ yeeees, an amazing guest this is gonna be proper”. 45 minutes later I’ve lost the will to live after listening to a guy spinning round and round and round and round in circles. No wonder it’s four hours long!
To leave a pasty as he called hooked in the net and go back to bed because he was tired Is a disgrace to then have to land another carp in the same net that's already got a hooked carp in it because he couldn't be bothered to unhook it , wtf , I can't believe you've allowed that to go out , are you trying to promote bad angling .
